Dont know what to do. I use a computer but I am not an expert. This never happened with Hotmail but this new and supposedly better system seems to have a lot of problems. The Spell Check Icon has dissapeared from the bar and I cannot find out how to get it back. Just bought a Rabbit TV to see how it would work finding internet tv content. When I inserted the key into the USB port mircrosoft errored out and wouldn't allow the download form Rabbit. Microsoft Updater showed an optional update file a few days later. I tried twice to install update, but above error code showed up. After two times Microsoft updater moved the file to faile to install and will not allow me to try again. I would appreciate any answer to the error code or similiar issues with Rabbit TV. I have a ROKU box that works perfectly so imagine its an issue with using the key in the USB port. Thanks Mike View this thread

Have an HP P7-1020 pc with 8gb ram, OS home premium 7 64, Epson NX110 printer, and Hannspree HF207 monitor. Lately my monitor has been showing a web site very clearly, then within minutes some of the verbiage will become out of focus and multicolored in the display. Have checked the drivers in it using the display function within control panel, and it shows it as being up to date. I have all the latest updates from Microsoft, including Java as well, and Flash is updated as well. This began to show up within the last 3 months I believe. Not sure what to do, the research shows from the Hannspree site display should be set to 1600X900, and it is. When not using a browser the display shows a screen with rotating pictures from MS as background, have a few gadgets on the display at right, all show clear and sharp, it is only during the use of the browsers that the display is messed up, I use Firefox v19.0.2, with adfirefox, and a few plugins, for Foxit PDF, and download add on's.Any suggestions on correcting this will be helpful. I will try same set up using IE10.0, or even Chrome and if it is clear on those will put a comment on this to show that.Thansk View the thread

I just had a call from PC Rescue who said my computer was severly compromised. A technician said that they are contracted with Microsoft to call and fix critical errors. Has anyone had a call like this before? I just ran a scan and it said that there are no viruses. I stopped the call because it seemed fishy. View the thread

I'm running Windows XP and just recently upgraded to IE8. My Windows firewall mysteriously became disabled and I cannot enable. During the time that this occured I downloaded IE8 and also had some virus activity. I think I am on top of the virus and I believe the IE8 is okay. Any suggestions? View this thread

I lost my Windows 7 Ultimate CD and my motherboard got fried by a surge when lightning struck close to my house. After having a new motherboard, processor and memory installed, it's asking me to re-activate and I don't have the key. Since I previously activated this product, can't Microsoft look it up and tell me what it is? I shouldn't have to re-purchase a license just because I lost the disk, should I? I have recently purchased a new laptop with windows 8 operating system. I have setup 2 emails through Outlook - one of these email boxes seems to work fine, however the other one periodically loses the entire contents. The only difference that I can tell between these email boxes is that the one that doesn't have problems operates through a POP3 server, the problem one will only work with IMAP server. I hope to find an answer to my problem. I recently decided to upgrade from XP to Windows 7 in order to avoid end of support for my system. After a few days I see there are over 90 "important update" listed in the "Control PanelSystem and SecurityWindows UpdateSelect updates to install". I selected the first dozen or so to install only to find that a "Fatal Error" occurred that caused me to completely re-install Windows 7 and SP1. I now discover that some of these updates are dependent on others. To sum it up, my question is this: Is there a concise listing of Windows 7 updates and their date-order? Vista Ultimate x64. Intel I7. When I boot in safe mode (minimal), the computer will start up ok, When I boot "Normal" it fails to load fully. The status bar freezes. Using MSConfig to disable all start up and all the services it will let me, and it still freezes during normal boot. Automatic Startup Recovery believes everything is ok. Safe mode with networking freezes as well. View this thread
