I'm trying to install windows update Intel Corporation - Storage Controller - Intel ® Mobile Express Chipset SATA RAID Controller but it keeps failing with error code 80070103. Please help. Thanks. I was trying to remove programs I thought I did not use so removed "Silverlight" (did not even know what it was)....anyway, now I get the error "Security Update for Microsoft Silverlight (KB2814124)" and cannot repair it. My cursor does not move smoothly and seems to stick on active content. This is happening in IE10 and Google Chrome browsers but not on other applications like Word or Excel. win 08R2 servers (2, 1 dc the other exchange) - Used to be the servers would download updates and let you choose when to reboot. Recently this changed and now the servers reboot automatically in the middle of the day! Need workstations to reboot at 3:00 AM like normal and the servers to allow manual reboot. I see how to configure global policy for this in the registry, but how do I set this behavior to be different for servers than for workstations? View this thread

After the latest Windows 7 Professional Update - Alt+Tab does not work and Outlook email attachments will not open - I can use Menus to save and open but right click does not open context menu to &quotsave&quot. After spending 2 hours with Norton fixing one problem I then found I can't print due to "print spooler service is not running". Norton Cannot help further on this one and the M/Soft Fix It hasn't done so. Have followed their manual instruction but it comes up with Error 1068 "Dependency service or group failed to start". I have not been able to get windows update since Nov 25 of 2012, update says some components are not running but when I check services is says windows update service is started in task manager. when I tried running update from web site I get error 0xc90000247. The file is a downloaded demo, Eleusis game, in My Documents folder. Any touch on the folder or any file in it causes the computer to freeze, requiring the use of task manager to escape. Then it still is a minute or so before the pc is usable again. On occasion it has even needed pulling the plug to shut the pc down.I tried to delete My Documents folder but Windows won't allow that.Help please. View this thread

When I am playing a game on Zynga.com and I have to step away for a few minutes there is always a little popup from Adobe seeking access to my webcam and audio. It does tell me that if I agree I may be recorded. Of course I always deny it but it happens every time when I have been away for a bit. Is this an indication of an infection or virus of some type? Just replaced operating system XP with Windows 7. The Scanner now does not scan to PDF and will only scan one page at a time. Is this normal? I also get a new icon(s) on the screen that indicates "IMPORT PICTURES and VIDEOs'. I can not delete these or close them out. What gives? View this thread

It gives me the propt, " the feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM that is not available. Insert the "Microsoft Office 2000 Proffesional Disk and click OK I did and then all I get is "fatal error during installation and it crashes. This has only happened since an automatic update to Vista in early March and now I cant get wWord to work as I think it can't find Documents and Settings which seems to have been removed in the update. My computer says I need to reinstall the program. Is it safe to just find it on the web and reinstall? I can't send via Outlook, access kasperski or use any browser other than Google. View this thread
