Hi, Last Friday we (creative sharepoint) started our Migration from on-prem exchange 2010 to Office 365. We only got as far as creating cloud accounts for everyone and changing our domain into a managed domain. After people changed their passwords on office 365 (from domain passwords to office 365) some people had issues (they had changed their domain passwords to match their more secure office 365 passwords), in which their domain account would be locked out on restart, or just randomly every few minutes. The only thing I could think of doing was to change their domain account password back to what they had it before changing. Is their anything anyone can tell me that might cause this issue? As I have tried getting everyone to remove all old credentials from credential manager, but some people are still experiencing this on start up, while others have their accounts locking every few minutes. Hi, I've just bought a new barebones PC (motherboard, processor and RAM only) with the intention of formatting my current hard drive and using it again in the new system. However, my Windows 7 installation disk is one of those upgrade-only ones, and specifies that Vista or XP needs to already be present in order to install. Is there a way around this? View the thread

Does anyone know how to add a footer to Windows Mail messages? I've tried using the signature setting but it comes up as exactly that - a signature at the end of a message. I want to add something that sits right across the bottom of every message and includes a small picture but I can't find a setting that will allow me to do so. View this thread

Hi, I purchased Windows 7 Ultimate while in Oman. The box came with 32 and 64 bit, though the box contained an activation restriction label: Middle East and Africa. I activated the Windows there and used it for more than 18 months. Furthermore, when I purchased it, I didn't think of coming to Canada. However, after coming to Canada, I had to reformat my computer. But for strange reasons, I wasn't able to activate my already activated Windows, as it said this product Key has been blocked due to regional restrictions. Does that mean the amount I spent on the purchase has gone with the wind? Is there any solution to this? Could anyone please help? Thank you in advance. View the thread

If I install the latest net framework 4 does it replace all the others or do I still need net framework 1.0 1.1 2.0 3.0 and 3.5 do I have to have all of them in order for .net programs to run. this has always confused me and I end up having several different versions and service packs for Net Framework installed. Used MSE sucessfully for about 6 months, then it would stop working and had to reinstall a couple of times. Then it would not uninstall and had to use Fix It to uninstall.Since then. it starts to install and stops after several seconds, giving the above error code. Running XP Home. View this thread

Hello everyone, Once again I find myself going to the pro's to find out what you'll probably think is an easy thing to do, but I need to swallow my pride and ask anyway. Before I ask my question I need to let you know that I am almost completely computer illiterate. I can manage to do somethings but I have a feeling this is going to be difficult. I have an older model Dell, it's Dimension 2350 series and the one I would like to transfer these things over is also a Dell, but it's a Intel Pentium 4. .I really don't have that much as far as files are concerned to transfer over, but mainly picutres of family and vacations. What I'm worried about is transferring the settings on my old computer to the newer one. I have a Windows XP CD disc that comes with a new computer. My Mcafee scan showed that I had 38 infections. It was trying to remove them when it shut down, and another window came up that I needed the antivirus removal. Stupidly I fell for it. The page had the norton logo, visa, master card etc. It looked good, even printed out a receipt. Upon further research I've learned its really a virus itself used for identity theft. Hi I was trying to do a PC restore but the client could not see the HP server so decided to connect the PC directly to the server via a crossover cable and setting a static IP address on the client (192.168.0.1) and the WHS (192.168.0.2) However for some reason PC client. When I try to install KB267038 the progress bar moves almost to the very end and then just stops. I have tried to then choose &quotRestart&quot and it states that it is installing, however even after 24 hours it sometimes takes to reboot it has not installed. Upon shutting down my computer, Windows update KB 2760600 32 bit runs continuously and my computer won't shut off normally. I tried to use the Fix It tool. It removes the problem for two to three shut-downs, but then the same darned update comes back and I'm back to square one. What can I do? View this thread
