My daughter has a Epson NX625 and we want to scan multiple pages into one file. I have downloaded every possible download they offer on their support site and we still cannot do this. I have spent so much time trying to figure this out and am getting very frustrated and cannot help but think that the Epson nx625 is worthless. Please, can someone help me figure this out? Updates have stopped and I no longer get alerts about failed updates. Manual initiation of update doesnt retrieve any files but I get a message requiring the computer to be resarted to complete installation. This does nothing. The update page date fields for "Most recent check" and "last update" always show "never". The update trouble shooter utility claims to fix a problem each time it is run but does not cure this problem. I tried restoring Windows to the date of the last successful updates but this fails each time. ?????? View this thread

I am running a Windows 7 64 bit. SP1 IE 10.0.9 and have AVG Anti Virus running. Date 10 April 2013: I shut down my desktop computer to received MS updates. It has been stuck for 4 hours saying "Please do not power off or unplug your machine, Installing update 1 of 10...." Internet connection working fine (my laptop connects well). No issues prior to shutting down, the PC was well up to date. Should it take this long? What happens if I do reboot? Hi, I just purchased and installed Office 2013 Home and Student. But after installation, I can't find any way to launch the program. There is no shortcut in either the start screen or the desktop, and typing winword into the Run dialog doesn't work. The program shows up in Programs and Features, but like I said, I can't find anyway to launch it. I tried repairing it from Control Panel, but this doesn't help. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times. In short, I'm stuck! Anybody have any ideas? View this thread

I have Win 7 Home Premium, whilst I was looking at update history, I saw many items that failed to update, No when I click on update history they all are lost. How do I get this log back?? (the log that described success or failure) I can easily get the list of installed updates but not the other one?? Please help View this thread

Hello there people of the forums. I work for a little IT firm which has been asked by one of our customers to install Office 2013 Home & Business on a number of computers for their company. The amount of installs is less than 15, so we've priced up and purchased a number of retail licences for each of the computers. In the past, when I have installed any Microsoft software in this way, I have simply had to insert the installation media (or download it) and activate each individual installation with the individual key. Not as fancy as volume licensing, but it did the job. Now when I've tried doing a similar thing with Office 2013, it requires an individual's login details to install office, and after that the installation is for ever listed on that user's microsoft account. That's fine if I'm installing Office for the Managing Director of the company (it's unlikely he's going to be leaving the business any time soon) but for the average computer user, I want to be able to install Office so it's not attached to any user's account. Have we bought the wrong licenses, and if that is the case, as a workaround can I set up all the licenses on one account and have them as a pool of licenses for the company? How would that affect online services like Skydrive etc.? On a side note, I have actually found that once I have activated one of these Home & Business keys, I'm then able to install it on any computer (and as many computers) as I like as long as I use the same key and log in. I keep reading that Office 2013 is for ever only able to be installed on one PC, but this doesn't seem to be the case. We've already bought 15 licenses, but it seems we could have gone down the (and obviously less honest) route of buying one license, activating against the boss, or against a generic business account, and using that to download office on to all of the business's computers.
