  1. Sorry for late response i was trying all kind of different things out. Later i found out that on my system i had Windows 7 32 bit installed. While Windows SBS 2008 only runs on 64 bit (DOH!). So i reinstalled my laptop with 64 bit now, but i still get the same error. My laptop is: Acer Aspire 6530G BIOS: PhoenixBIOS v0.3216 I can't find in my bios to enable the VT technology. There isn't any advance tab to change things in.
  2. My PC does have more then 60 GB free and does supports 64 bits. And i try to install it on VMware first to test it all out.
  3. Alright thanks for your time. I will still keep a eye on this topic though (might somebody has any other idea's or u might come later on a new idea). And i will think about how i go further. Thanks again for your time :)
  4. It's for Remote Web Workplace, that is only available in a SBS.
  5. It's for a school project. I need to be able to show it to the school that it all is running. What is the best thing to do now? So far i checked all drivers are up to date.
  6. I have check the prerequisites on this site: http://www.howtonetworking.com/sbs/2008sbs1.htm It seems that my laptop can run it though my laptop has: 2.00 GHz 4 GB RAM Diskspace: 600 GB My home pc got: 2.66 GHz 2 GB RAM Diskspace: 500 GB They seem to be a bit on the minimum but they still should work i guess? Or is it because i am running it virtual i need more? Sounds logical though.. bsod.zip
  7. I am getting the same error on a other PC. So i guess it isn't the motherboard or the hard drive. EDIT: I am able to install Windows SBS 2003. I am also able to install Windows Server 2008. The problem goes at Windows SBS 2008 only.
  8. Thanks for your response. I can give it a try to use a other computer. I will give u a notice on this topic when thats done and the result from it.
  9. It will be hard to believe that the problem is at the ISO while i got that problem at 3 different ISO's. I have tried it with my antivirus (NOD32) disabled and still the same error.
  10. I tried from installing it from CD-ROM drive and directly from the ISO. Both give the same error.
  11. Thanks for your response. I get the same error in a physical machine and a virtual machine. I tried to remove every unneeding things like USB and such but the error keeps coming back.
  12. Thanks for your quick response. I use the ISO of all versions directly i dont use my CD-ROM drive. I also runned the test of he found any errors in the ISO but he said he didnt found anything (at every ISO version).
  13. Hi, I try to install Windows Small Business Server 2008. When i try that it fails to install i get a error (this error will be in the attachment). I tried different versions of Windows Small Business Server 2008, these versions i tried: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/nl-nl/details.aspx?FamilyID=537ac5b3-9ac2-4667-916b-99928bca9f70 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=537ac5b3-9ac2-4667-916b-99928bca9f70 (Windows Small Business Server 2011 gives same error) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/gg492833 As u can see they are all from Windows so that should be good i guess? I am trying to run it in a Virtual Machine with VMware Workstation. I also tried it with VirtualBox en VirtualPC they give all the same error. I hope somebody can help me out with this problem. This problem i have already for a few days that i can't fix. Thanks in advance. Greetz, Jan24
