  1. Hi Everyone, I have an installed windows Server 2008 and Novell Netware 6.5.Now I want to get rid of Novell Netware 6.5 and just have Windows Server 2008. So I need to copy all the Data from Novell Netware 6.5 to Windows Server 2008.Please note that Windows Have problem in regards to file naming Conventions i.e. it cannot copy files with names > 256 characters. To my Knowledge - If we can communicate both of the OS's i.e. Novell uses IPX/SPX protocol and Windows uses TCP/IP protocol. We need to do that by installing Nwlink IPX/SPX Netbios protocol Compatibility Transport Portocol but in windows 2008 we cannot install Nwlink IPX/SPX Netbios protocol Compatibility Transport Portocol. FYI - We can install Nwlink IPX/SPX Netbios protocol Compatibility Transport Portocol by following the method listed below: 1. Copy files of path below from server 2003 to same path on server 2008: Windows\System32\drivers (nwlnkipx.sys,nwlnkspx.sys) Windows\inf(netnwlnk.inf) Windows\System32 (wshisn.dll,nwprovau.dll) 2. Perform install new protocol steps on 2008, and you can found that IPX/SPX is listed in viable protocol list. After all this What should I do?Please suggest me some possible solutions to solve this issue. Thanks, Karthik
