  1. Mhn...I have a test/autobuild box with a personal blog and an email server on it : Atom D510 Dual Core (with HT 4 threads) 1.66 Ghz 4 GB Ram DDR2 2x500GB HD (Configured as RAID 1) 10 Mbit Unmetered bandwidth Windows Web Server 2008 R2
  2. Thank you, thought that was the case, but better asking. Because Microsoft licensing page were filled with thousands of clause and pact that would make Mephistopheles appear like a lovely kindergarten. :whistling:
  3. Quick, but important question. Windows Web Server 2008 R2 is told to be LIMITED by licensing to only web application, bla bla bla... Does this apply only to MICROSOFT software (limitation to roles and stuff)? Or A L L software? (including non-microsoft one?) (need to decide if to buy it or not) 1) I mean if I have a subversion (apache httpd based) server on it, it would be illegal? 2) What about an automatic build system (a couple of powershell scripts) using MSBuild (that output to a IIS folder)? 3) What about a TCP Server (opened to the internet)? (non-microsoft, but homebrew made by me?) Thank you, feal87
