  9. Hi there! I recently came across a linux server which we are making to a PXE server for various linux distributions. This is a business network: . What I need to do is to tell the Windows DHCP server to send all boot request to 10.64.110.200 But how do I do that? Also the DHCP on the router will be turned off later. Since the client computer ask for a DHCP server and chooses the fastest one, it's often the dedicated DHCP server. If there isn't a good way to change this in Windows Server I belive well have to change from Windows to linux in the DHCP server part. Thank you in advance

I wrote a small program in Visual Basic which must be run every day at 2AM, so I added a task in the Task Scheduler to perform it automatically. I checked the status of such an operation and I see a Last Run Result of 0x8004131F which means that the task is already running. I also checked the properties of the task and clicked the History tab and I see the following entries: * (Information - Event ID 140) Task Scheduler failed to start "\Herramientas\ActualizacionSitios" task for user "TERES01\teressoft". Additional Data: Error Value: 2147750687. * (Error - Event ID 101) Task Scheduler did not launch task "\Herramientas\ActualizacionSitios" because instance "{344a9…

One is a dedicated DNS server and I'm trying to set up another one as an Active Directory Domain Controller... I know for a fact that my DHCP is working correctly, but whenever I try and add my DNS server or even my local machine to the domain, I get this error message "The following error occurred attempting to join the domain "mydomain": the network path was not found" I have exhausted my google searching skills, what must I do to get my machines authenticated? Thanks in advance for any, literally any, input you can give

Hello All, As part of our migration plan here, I'm in the process of building out new Domain Controllers to replace our aging Domain Controllers that are currently running. We currently are using Windows 2003 32bit as our domain controllers (we have 4 total) DC1,DC2, DC3 and chims01) and I would like to eventually upgrade to Windows 2008r2. I'm at the point where I'm about to run the Adprep commands on my primary DC (DC1 which holds all the fsmo roles), but will I run into any problems in this step? I know you can host a mixed DC environment with 32bit and 64bit but I wanted to get feedback from anyone who has done this migration before. I simply want to introduce …
