I have Windows Xp Home Edition, When I startup the computer it will loadup to the page to select a user, I highlight a user it will startup for 10 seconds or less and then log off to the user page. I downloaded a update of Picsa2 then it loaded and finish. I then restarted the computer and then started to above problem. What I did I do not know?

I have a problem with my computer running Windows XP (Service Pack 2). When shutting down my computer everything works fine until it says "Windows is shutting down..." then nothing happens, usually it powers down but now nothing happens and I need to close down my computer manually with the on/off-button. I doesn't work to reboot the computer either, the same thing happens; it gets stuck at the "Windows is shutting down..."-screen. I tried using a program called CCleaner(registry cleaner) but it didn't help. Then a found a program here at the Microsoft website called uhpclean and it seemed to solve the problem but only temporarly, after a few succeded shut down…

I am currently preparing to move my AD and DNS services to a new server, one of the old servers happens to be a terminal services licensing server. I was trying to do an assignment which involved inserting many pictures for school. I was having problems placing them exactly where I needed them on word because of all the formatting that messes with it. Is there a way to just drag and drop where you want your pictures in word? Thanks!
