Hello All, im new here... i have been in debate the last few months with myself. I am a small time administrator of some very small businesses. and most of the servers i work with are sbs2003 / server 2003. now i have learned alot in the last two years. but really want to get some certs. I couldnt decide weather to do mcse 2003 or mcitp related certs. i was reading alot of forums etc. and decided to do a) mcitp enterprise administrator B) mcitp server administrator c) mcitp exchange 2010 people were saying it was better to do mcse as majority of servers are still 03 and its a good place to start. others said that companies dont even look at m…

Greetings Everyone, I am joining due to my hardware background is now being utilized as an IT admin for my son's school. I have no windows server experience what so ever. I am going to try to crash course this as this summer I will have to deploy a new server! YELP! Currently I am in charge (using the term loosely, I more just watch) 1 Windows Server 2003 Ent - (Domain, DNS, SQL, Roaming Profiles, Etc) 60ish Systems 90 Users If anyone could point me in the right direction to start learning WS2008R2 I would greatly appreciate it! I apologize in advance for all my dumb questions!

I an a retired software/hardware R&D developer. I volunteer as IT director for my church. Server with couple of dozen desktops/laptops. Just installed new Dell 2008 windowsserver to replace Dell 2000 windows server due to end of support life for it and chuch spplications. Went live 11/5/09 with old server still doing domain, dhcp, and terminal server functions (to be migrated). User apps and databases moved.
