Hi everyone, I'm an old hand at LAMP servers. I maintain a couple both based on CentOS. I am also a license holder of two XenForo sites that are still in development. I currently teach in Texas near Houston. I hope to be moving back to Florida soon. If the move to Florida doesn't come through, I'll be back to Germany working as an Internet Specialist for the US Army. My favorite pass time other than computers is riding bicycles. PS. I just wanted to add that I expect to be working for the Army this summer. The US Government works entirely with MS products. I hope to learn basic Windows Server maintenance skills by the time summer rolls around.

Hi, Courtney from OutboundMusic.com here. We've just upgraded from our windows 2003 server to 2008. We're music broadcasters, and I refer to the file details often. On the 2003 server, details such as "duration" were showing on the files, but even though I am checking the box for those to show, they aren't showing on 2008. The file is the same, so I know that property is included in the file information. I'm sure it's a simple solution, but I can't figure out how to make my necessary file details show. Does anyone out there know what I need to do?

Hello everybody that's on this forum. My name is Jonathan Burgerhout and i come from The Netherlands. At this moment i'm working on a new network for a company that is just starting. What i like to do is trying fix my own problems and help others with theirs :geek: . So if you have any ptoblems i would gladly take a look at it and try to help you out in almost any way possible. At home i have a HP Pro Liant server with some basic stuff on it like: AD, DNS, File server, IIS and a mail server with Hmailserver. At this moment i'm trying to make my Hmailserver work on the internet and not only in my own network and i'm also the only one that's doing IT related work…

Hello, my name is Stan and I am probably a bit older than most of the IT people on the forum. I am the IT Manager for a small city in Washington State and have been involved with computers (and other electronics) most of my life. Some of you may have heard of Univac? That is not to say that I know more than any of you. IT is a constantly evolving field and I am always running to catch up and often find myself a bit behind the curve. I spend a good deal of time studying and experimenting. I am using 2008 Enterprise R2 as my desktop OS just so I can learn it top to bottom. My name is Bob Schwarz. I own a network of sites that cover a wide variety of topics. All my sites can be found at Schwarz Network the main homepage for all my sites. Windows 8 Forum is the newest site to join the network. I've been a geek for as long as I can remember. It started when I built my first shortwave radio while I was in the process of getting my Amateur Radio license.
