Jeff here. This forum looks really nice. I have many years experience in the field so i hope i can be a part of the forum here and add something myself, learn some things as well! I have been browsing this forum as well as three others but decided to register on this one because it looked more relaxed. I have been out of tech for a while though getting personal affairs done and just life. Semi-retired and looking forward to sharing and getting back into it. I noticed some threads still on the board are older? like very old. Nonetheless looks like a very cool place to hang out!

Name is Sam. I live in Wisconsin (yes we have lots of cheese here and it gets cold and yes I am a Packers fan) and I came here for some help your forum looks nice and people are friendly. I hope I can also be of some service to someone though I am a learning a bit above a beginner level done some things but still learning!

Hi, I am brand new here, but I've been using Windows 8 since March. I am so glad I found this forum. I don't feel so bad that I can't figure everything out. My business deals with computers so I am on them 16 hours a day. We have to have new and innovative things or we would go crazy. I am glad I found a group of people that feel the same way. Hey everyone, As the title states, complete newcomer to server administration looking to learn as much as possible to get myself back in the IT field. I have a little experience in the field having done tech support for a local WISP back in '07/'08, left the job for personal reasons and haven't been able to get back in since so I am trying to make myself as marketable as possible by studying in my off time from my current job. I have a LOT of computer experience starting from a very young age (5 or 6 I believe) and from my own hobbies with computer gaming I have picked up a lot of good knowledge about PC's.
