I have a lexmark printer. Recently it stopped printing, and I had to restart the computer each time ai would print.I reinstalled the printer driver and now the printer does not print even when re-starting the computer. The printer troubleshooter instructs to permit certain files thru the antivirus software. There is no such option on the MS Security console. Greetings, I have a server that I colocate. Recently the server went crazy. A little earlier today I was trying to edit a config file for a minecraft server (the minecraft server is run in a 4GB ram disk, the server has 16GB of RAM and doesn't use anywhere close to it), I tried to launch nano, it gave me a segmentation fault, I tried a yum erase nano. It gave me an error. I tried a yum clean all and I got this: error: rpmdb: damaged header #518 retrieved -- skipping. And it kept repeating over and over. I want to remove WindowsXP from a perfectly functioning Pentium computer, reformat the hard drive, and re-use the system as a DOS-based games system. I have so far removed most data files, and most of the Windows system. I have an MS-DOS boot diskette to reformat, but the C:drive containing the XP operating system is not recognized. How can I get DOS to see the C:drive so I can use the FDISK command to reformat? The PartDisk commands are not working because XP is on the basic C:boot disk.
