Multitasking or Keeping an application running in background is simply impossible with the current design of Windows 8 phone. Reason: As soon as the application looses focus, the OS just pauses it and does not allow it to execute. This may be work for some applications it is totally unacceptable for applications like timers, stopwatches web synchronizers, banking apps and other similar apps which need to work whether they have the focus or not. This "freeze the app when focus is lost" is so annoying that I cannot even perform I-banking. We need to save certain e-mails received via Hotmail. Is their a way of doing so with out retaining them in e-mail form indefinitely? Hi, for the past 2 weeks I've been getting a blue screen on my computer, error code 0x0000007B, 0xFFFF880009A9928, 0xFFFFFFFFC0000034. It all started when I decided to do a full Norton ghost restore on my C Drive, from a backup I made the previous day. After restarting it immediately blue screened on start up, so I thought the backup might be corrupt and I tried a different backup I made about 2 months ago. It still got a blue screen. Hello. I have an issue with an laptop with Windows 7 64bit Home Premium. There is only one usable USB port on my laptop. I suspect it is an eSATA port, though I ain't completely sure of that. Then there is one ssUSB and two normal USB2 ports. There is onle the eSATA port that is usable for external devices, such as mouses, memory sticks, etc. The other three ports only seem to provide power without any issues, as I have a fan pad connected to one of the other three ports, and it's working as expected. Furthermore, I recently received an e-mail from my realtor with an attachment I could not open. I got a message that a certain file could not be found. The real time scanning feature of MS Essentials lacks the ability to view what it is actually scanned. A tool or adding this feature to MS Essential would be nice. I have seen MS Security Essentials eat up CPU while performing real time scans. It would help to know what it is scanning at the time when it is using lots of CPU. This is for the real time scanner. Not the full scan feature that already shows what is being scanned. Maybe I am missing something, I know with McAfee Total Defense, the real time scanner has a monitor to show what is being scanned in real time. My computer is full of virus. So I did a back to factory restore. When I booted up, same thing. I still had the virus, malware, ect. I though a restore would over wright everything. I guess not. Hi, on my laptop I have Linux Mint Debian with gnome-shell. The nm-applet permits me to select the hotspot mode with the wifi device. The problem is that I set the hotspot mode, the system start to configure, but doesn't terminate the operation and returns to the normal mode of the wifi device. Apparently I cannot upgrade from Fedora 15 to Fedora 20 using fedup, so I've decided to install Fedora 20 from Live USB. The problem is the single physical hd is partitioned as shown here, with EXT4 boot partition and an LVM2 partition that has 0 B of unused space.
