I started my computer this day, and it was very slow. Then this error came up: reg.exe - Application Error, The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). I got really worried because I thought my computer was infected. I scanned it many times with Microsoft Security Essentials, and it said it was clean. I try to press OK on the reg.exe error but it pops up again after 2 seconds, and I can't do anything about it. I checked my task manager for processes and I saw a program disappeared and my computer got fast again, but when I took task manager away it got laggy and slow again. I have installed Postfix using Yum, I am running Fedora 20. yum install postfix. I setup the postfix main.cf file. I believe I have done everything correctly, Please, can someone guide me to right direction. Am I missing something. I think My ISP Verizon FIOS, is probably blocking port 25? I have configured IPTables in my Linux server. Should I disable the IPtables and test it out. Can I configure Postfix to use another port, and forward the port on my ROUTER. For the last several weeks I have been setting up and learning a system that does the same as under Vista, a few things more with less hassle. The system does not let me log on as root and I am forced to either SUDO or SU. As an experiment I created an administrative account, thinking it would give me the same access level as root. Obviously not. So I deleted the administrative account but since then sudo does not work. I get an error invalid password. I've been having folder freezing issues (for over a year) when I R clicked and choose 'delete' .. so I stopped doing it! now another r click issue I have is when I selected two jpg images , r clicked and choose 'print'. Now the folder is frozen for over 1/2 Hr. Is there any way to unfreeze it, or cancel, whatever? Use the Task Mngr and choose End Task? Any ideas as to why I have these R click issues? Hi when i open Task Manage it does not show any ongoing activity of the system the CPU, Network, Memory and Disk utilization % remain constant and not change at all please see the image and the notification icons of the task manager also remains the same. Since I switched to Windows 7 last year (a new computer), I've had trouble with Windows Explorer (NOT Internet Explorer). (1) when I try to save a Word document into an existing folder, I get a message which says I don't have authority to alter files at that level. If I save again, it will save but then WE crashes (i.e. goes white and the monitor is frozen). (2) If I open a folder in WE and right click on a file there, more likely than not WE will crash at that point--same scenario. Windows Event Viewer has recoded multiple occurrences of an error with ID # of 1005. It further reports that it cannot open the file C:\Windows\System32\AudioEng.dll and has halted Windows Audio Graph Isolation as a result. Now it will not recognize my default audio playback device, and the IDE Audio Control Panel system tray icon has disappeared.
