I have Microsoft Publisher 97 on my Windows 7 and until March 4, 2014 it worked fine. Now every time I try to save a file I get a message that reads : "Due to low memory or use of a floppy (I don't use a floppy) other than the one you started with Publisher has had to rename your publication." My files now go into Pictures instead of Program Files like they used to. I don't know what happened. Can anybody help with this? Also, I downloaded MS Pub with a CD and now I can't get that to work either. Thank you for your help. Rich Continue reading...

Hello, I have tons of documents uploaded to my OneDrive. I use it as my primary storage folder for essentially all my documents. But the problem is that I don't always have access to the internet. I want to pick and choose some important files for offline use as well. I don't want to create a new folder outside of OneDrive because I'd have problems with syncing and it gets confusing if you edit them from separate devices. How do I go about it ? Really troubling me. Thanks. Continue reading...

Whenever I download a file, whether it be a ZIP, EXE, RAR, or any other type of file you could imagine, it appears to be corrupt. Upon trying to launch the file, it will give me an error stating that it is corrupt. If it is a zip file, it will tell me there is an unexpected end of archive. I have tried updating the firmware on my router, which did not work. I have tried using different browsers, but they do not work either. I have tried running a virus scan, but it comes up clean. The only solution I've found which I have been unable to try is to do a re-installation of windows 7, which at the moment is currently impossible for me. I am unable to update m…

I've been using my Macbook pro as an "admin" account since 2009. Though I have set it up to sign in after sleep, and to sign in to admin any changes in apps, uploads, etc., I have been hearing a lot about having an admin account as a stand alone and actually using the computer in standard. I've read that you create a new admin, sign out of the other admin, sign into the new one, then change the old admin to "standard" in order to keep all your settings like the dock, apps, etc. My concern is, before I do this, is that correct? Will I sign into the old "admin" that is now "standard" and see everything exactly as it is now ie dock, desktop and most importantly all t…

Hello all, Hopefully this is the right spot. Pretty new to Linux and trying to figure out how to set up a Centos 6.5 DNS Server on a Windows Active Directory environment. The Windows server is a Server 2008 32 bit OS and also acts as the primary dns. The Centos DNS server is on the network and can ping outside locations (like google) by domain or IP address. If I try to set up a client machine to use the Centos DNS it can ping the IP, but not the domain name. I'm not 100% sure what information would be needed to help troubleshoot the problem so please let me know. I'm thinking I need to get the forward and reverse records from the Windows Server to the Centos…

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is a sequel to both Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers, and a quasi tie-in to ABC's ongoing Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D television series. It also riffs on Ed Brubaker's classic comic book arc of the same name and that it manages to weave all those threads together into a pretty entertaining movie is a testament to just how well Marvel/Disney has planned their cinematic universe. If you haven't watched the previous films and shows, however, you can still catch up on all of them via iTunes and a fair chunk via Netflix as well (depending on what country you live in, because, ugh.) I liked Winter Soldier quite a bit. Captain …

More often than not, crowdfunding campaigns act more or less as a preorder system, despite Kickstarter’s insistence that it’s not a store. Today’s campaign from the Canadian game developer of Spaceteam, Henry Smith, flies in the face of that trend. His Kickstarter campaign is simply to keep him in the business of innovative, interesting games that might not necessarily have the mass appeal necessary to be a commercial success, but pushes new creative boundaries. If you haven’t played Spaceteam, it’s a very creative local multiplayer game where players connect their devices over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and are each presented with a different spaceship control panel. Orders …

My DELL D600 has OEM Windows XP Pro SP3, and all or most netframeworks suddenly began NOT RESPONDING every single time. I don't know what has gone wrong, it's driving me nuts. I can't afford to upgrade. I tried the online Microsoft fixit, no luck. I uninstalled a few programs, thinking maybe it's too full. Still no luck. Every time I have to use any folder window, or any file item at all, the same thing happens, each and every time. "Not responding" delay on the window or desktop containing the item. Have to hit Ctl-Alt-Delete at least twice, if not 3-4 times. Each such "seizure" lasts for a count of at least 26, and often much longer. Basically makes Wi…
