Every time I boot up and log on to my Windows 11 pro PC the system notification sound is on Maximum. It is driving me mad!! So I go onto the sound icon on the Task Bar and put the volume for system sounds at as near Minimum as I can. But then it seems to ignore this and goes back to maximum. Hello. This is the 3rd time I’ve had to reformat and start my laptop over again because a windows update I have no control over has turned my screen black after the login screen. I’ve spent days trying all the options in different posts here. So until Microsoft stops breaking Asus laptops 3 times a year with their updates I refuse to update.
