They caught me yesterday and I thought they were a ligit MS Windows support Centre since they knew my windows Reg. number. So I gave them access to my computer. Only when they told me I needed to pay R1500 to "renew my expired ssl Security Certificate" or words to that effect did I realise I had been had. I feel such an idiot. The thing is I have had dealings before with the MS Support staff from India and so it sounded authentic this time too. I quickly closed everything down when I got off the phone. Using my IE Browser today, i noticed a flashing shield on my bar....apparently i accidentally opened it and next thing i knew, my computer was taken over by this thing. It identified itself as "Windows Internet Guard" and kept popping up windows on the right. As it progressed, it wanted a credit card number....to be used after the "trial period". I did not do anything with this...noticed that the word "automatically" was misspelled....kept trying to close it....then i realized, to my horror, it was blocking all my attempts to access the internet!!!!! Hello, im having CSF firewall with LFD. LFD allows connections tracking and temporarilly baning excessive conenction IPs. But i dont have idea on which value i should input so i ask there if there are any handly linux toold which can show me some stats on IP connections so i can see example when someone load certain webpage how many connections in average are used etc.. VM1 - I1,I2 (2 interfaces,192.168.122.2,10.0.0.2) VM2 - I1,I2 (2 interfaces,192.168.122.3,10.0.0.3) What I need to implement is,to redirect traffic that is received on I1 of VM1 to I1 of VM2. VM2 on receiving,should process those packets,then send out through its I2 to I2 of VM1. VM1 should then reply to the original request. The titans of the smartphone space — Samsung and Apple — are still the titans, but smaller competitors like Huawei and Lenovo are chipping away at their market share. That's the latest from Strategy Analytics, whose numbers of the global smartphone marketshare for the first quarter of this year saw the combined smartphone marketshare of Samsung and Apple dip to 46.5% from 49.9%. I bought a refurbished laptop about three or four years ago with an authentic version of XP Professional already installed. i have windows xp ...i have no audio device. It seems to me that I've been all around this computer, including adding devices, as drivers. I can't get my sound back. I can hear my desk top speakers come on..but nothing out of my computer. Can someone please give me direction. Yes I know it's an older computer, but I don't have the $$ to get something new. Windows Home Server 2011 is currently not able to back up UEFI boot systems nor is it able to back up GPT type systems. This may be addressed in a future update to the Windows Home Server product. Is this still the case? I just had my father buy a brand new Dell laptop, with the assumption that he'd be able to connect it to his network and back it up to the server in the same fashion his Win7 laptop had been backing up.
