* Original Title: After making all my files in Skydrive Online Only to free up disk space on my surface, free disk space calculations is incorrect After deleting all the skydrive files which I set to be online only, my surface drive should have freed up about 20 gigs under the Users\account\SkyDrive directory. If I use Explorer to navigate to the SkyDrive folder and ask for its size (via Properties), it correct shows zero usage. If I navigate one level up to the Users\Account directory, the same action results in it finding 20 gigs of used space. This forces me to limit the total number of applications that I can install. Hi Microsoft Support, My laptop (Lenovo Y500 - without SSD) came with pre-installed Windows 8.0 and I succeeded in resetting my computer to factory settings twice without any issues until now. Recently, I bought a new SSD Samsung 840 250gb which I put in an ultrabay (removed dvd drive and connected my SSD drive instead.) I used Samsung migration software to clone my hard-drive and migrate all my data to the SSD. After setting up booting sequence starting with SSD everything went fine and the Windows booted from the SSD instead of hard drive. Everything was ok, so I saved the video as a HD file, when I played the video in the video section on the home screen, it would play sound on some of my clips, but other clips on the same video would just mute out. Unfortunately I purchased a new computer that has Windows 8. My old computer was slow but I could do things quickly... I scanned and saved some photos onto my desktop. Now, I want to upload them to Facebook. Gave up on that. Then I wanted to just copy/paste them into the body of an email, like I could on my "old" computer. Gave up on that. So yesterday my windows stopped being genuine after about 2-3 years. I believe i have the normal version. I'm using Windows 8 and Snapdo is displayed as one of my add-ons, I've disabled it but I'm unable to remove it (the remove button is just shaded out) and unable to remove it using add/remove programs in Control Panel. It's not displaying as my homepage or as a toolbar, although it is in the list of toolbars. Hello, I would like to write a small program/script and am looking for advice on how to do so. I do not have a preference about which method or language to use, hopefully looking for the simplest way to do this. I have a program that runs on text files e.g. "program file1.txt file2.txt" I have 20 folders that each have 5-10 text files. I want to automatically get the name of the largest size text file from each of the 20 folders, and then run the program on these 20 files as described above. I have a dell XPS 210 desktop. 2 ram, 250 hd. not half full. I believe I got it in '06. XP I have been trying out purchased live cd's. Puppy Precise Puppy Slacko PC Linux OS Lubuntu Linux Lite (on dell mini, booted with usb) My desktop will only boot with CD I love them all, BUT, EVERYONE has problems! Puppy and PC: mouse freezes, the cursor freezes but the mouse works if you can figure out where it is on the screen. Lubuntu has NO Sound. Linux Lite, had to get the drivers going and works fine but sound is very low, no volume control. I boot this up on my mini dell 10 with a usb.
