I have bought a new lenovo laptop without OS preinstalled and then bouth a Windows 8 Pro Eng Intl 1PK DSP OEI. I have successfully installed Windows 8, but when I try to activate it give me an error code 0xC004C003 The activation server determined that the specified product key has been blocked. I already try to browse from this community about this kind of error, but there is no solution for me. Is it caused by a secure boot or UEFI or something like that I don't know about? I used Windows 8.1 . And I got some problems, so I decided to uninstall the Windows and got to Windows 8. Unfortunately, I couldn`t do "Trust this PC" on Action Center like what I have done on Windows 8.1 Even I have clicked "Trust this PC" for many times, it didn`t happen anything. I run windows 8, and to update to 8.1, when i opened the windows store app, it just closed immediately, however it opened correctly a few days ago. Hi, I have a Dell Studio 15 laptop with Windows 7 Premium pre-installed. After the recent update (of which restore point was not created), my computer has 'write protected' every folder! This is freaking me out. Opening 'properties' shows read only attribute filled blue (Actually it's not checked. I have just replaced windows Vista SP2 on my desktop computer with Windows 7, deliberately starting everything again from scratch. On Vista I had an obsolete program called Microsoft PictureIt, which I cannot now reinstall because I have lost the disc. However, I do have it on a laptop, also with V John Preslandista. I tried to transfer it by copying the files. This worked with three of them, but then my Windows 7 tells me I also need a file called LTFILn.DLL, which I can't find on the laptop - perhaps Vista didn't need it to run the program. I've tried many fixes but I still always get this notice every time I try to download a PDF file, with my Windows XP: "PAVA-5524918-40-96bc8c71-3ad4-46cb-be83-ea0c6eb54802.pdf virus scan failed" . Sometimes it will let me save it to another location like the desktop, but then sometimes when I do that it doesn't show up as a PDF and won't open. I bought a Hampton Bay Solar light in order to modify it to use as a battery charger in order to be more "Green Friendly" and to use it to charge other batteries. It uses 2 lithium phosphate batteries rated at 3.2 volts 1000 Mah that powered the light. Battery voltage started at 1.3 volts and rose to 3.41 volts after about 36 hours of sun exposure. The product info said that it would last for 6 hours at full current. I used it for 1 hour and the voltage dropped to to .7 volts. Is that typical ? Is it because of poor quality batteries ? Hello everyone, I am developing a product with a Raspberry Pi in it, and we are using Wi-Pi dongles, which use the rt2800usb driver. I've written a program that manages the network. This program puts the WiFi stick in ad-hoc mode and automatically selects a channel based on what other Pi's select and how much background noise there is. However, when the program changes the channel the Wi-Pi is on, it stops transmitting beacons frames, which means that other devices, such as iPads, can no longer see the network. Hello this is my first post so please take it easy on me. I know how to do very very basic things in Ubuntu. I currently have 2 server machines running Ubuntu with a GUI (newbie I know) and I have made a ram disk directory on each. I just need to know how to set a script to auto run a copy command from the ramdisk directory to the desktop folder backup directory every 5 minutes and on shut down.
