I have a new Dell Optiplex 330 PC that have been in storage since being purchased. It was purchased as a spare and never powered up until last week. I updated the Internet Explorer to the Internet Explorer 8 version. I installed AVG 2014 Antivirus. Then I connected to the Microsoft Windows Update to update the system to include all of the updates available until the April 8th, 2014 End of Support. As of today, I have not been able to install any of these updates including XP Service Pack 3. Hello Microsoft Community, I am facing problem with all USB pen drives.. When I am inserting pendrive in my XP system, "Found new Hardware wizard" appears & when clicking on next button it shows message "Cannot Install this Hardware". Normally no external driver require for pendrives, earlier i was able to use any pendrive there was no problem. Now I can use pendrive which is installed earlier but i can not use any new pendrive which i am using first time.. Can anyone help me to overcome this issue? I don't want to re-install Windows XP. I have a K43SJ Asus Laptop and orginally, it has a Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed in it. I installed Windows 8 (Genuine)some time last year. My motherboard broke down three months ago and it had to be replaced by a legit ASUS repair center. Now, I have decided to go back to the original OS because I do not want Windows 8.1 anymore. So I reformat it with the OS inside the hidden partition of my laptop. Then after installation, it says that my OS is not genuine. How can I fix this? I'm pretty sure this is genuine. Prior to this I was getting BSODs when playing a video game, I believe it had something to do with a driver error but when I ran the windows software that checks for faulty drivers which requires a restart, the computer kept getting the top BSOD error code message. On opening the discmgmt volume is blank/empty...layout simple...type basic...file system is not indicated/empty...status healthy primary partition...capacity 931.27GB ...free space 931.27 GB ...%FREE 100%...fault tolerence NO...overhead 0%. I think it might also be related to two other programs, dealing with CODECS that fail to uninstall, also. HELP!!!! They should be ashamed of themselves I have restored, exited the program, tried numerous time to uninstall, and it just continues to try and update. Hi there I am trying to download the above but everytime I run the programme, it freezes at 99% and says the download was interrupted - I then click on Resume and it says that it is a malicious link or website! I have tried every safe malware programme and does the same thing. I know i have a virus because my laptop is very slow and I keep getting popups. I stupidly let my Norton run out and didn't renew it until after I discovered the virus - it quaranteed alot but there are still some pesky bugs left. Hi, I am having issue with putting a simple if then elif statement working. the script checks for ldap file in solaris system and if it finds solaris box then it looks for the correct file and then grabs the ldap server names. if the server is linux server finds the proper linux ldap file and grabs the ldap server names.
