I accidentally tried to delete Win32.hack, then the Microsoft security asked for a restart and now (after it rebooted) my Windows Xp Pro is (again) demanding an activation key. My OS is legal and from Ptec, but whether or not its key is valid, the tower is an old COMPAQ Presario 5000 PC despite it new OS, it still operates slow (faster than it use to...but slow) and I'm worried it may get another error. (Though the worse case scenario, is that it accepts then as soon as it restarts it'll begin all over again.) That's why the "tool" was used. OK this is how my disk looks like. I have 3 primary partitions including the system reserved drive and one boot drive. What I want to create is 2 more drives out of the 25GB unallocated space to install ubuntu. When I tried to do so I got a warning saying that the disk needed to converted to dynamic type and wont be able to load another os from another partition. Even though I dont have another os ryt now i'm planning to install one. Now i tried an external partition manager to create a new simple volume but it asked me convert one of the primary disks to logical one. Will I loose any data in the process. Why is Win 7 making it so difficult to create additonal partitions?…

I had a bsod issue that I posted about on here, then I got the oem alienware/dell to mail me for free all new discs for the laptop at which point I install the os and applicable drivers and my Logitech t630 Bluetooth mouse no longer connects when I go into Bluetooth add a device, it just stays at spinning. Help I have Windows 8.1 and have been getting lots of po-ups and redirect screens this week. I went to check Defender settings but it seems to have disappeared from my computer. Typing in Defender or windows defender, it doesn't show, I just get search suggestions. I got this Interpol F.B.I. Notice that my computer was being blocked unless I paid $300.00 phishing due to downloading ****, music, videos, etc.... and causing other people to download viruses, etc.... I have downloaded nothing and am not doing anything wrong. When I looked it up, this is a scam but, I can not get it off my explorer and when I look on-line using Bing on how to get it off, it sends me to sites wanting me to purchase their security software to remove it. Adware infected my IE 11. I am not able to get rid of it. I need to just reinstall the IE. It seems as though it is impossible to do so with IE 11. I may turn it off, but I am not able to repair it via clean install. I may have the V9 malware. I am not sure. It seems kind strange that IE 11 is a permanent fixture.
