Hi, I cannot change the lock screen on my computer. It runs Windows 8 and whenever I try to change it it won't let me click anything and says that some settings have been disabled by group policy. However, there are no other users on this computer, and the account I use is the administrator. It only started displaying this about two months after I first got the computer. I use Chrome but Internet Explorer keeps coming up by itself with things for me to look at for other sights. I think its being proxy browser but I don't want one. I've gone into the Chrome setting & have unchecked the box multiple times but every time I go back to check on it, it has rechecked the box all by it self. I am currently running norton anti virus and the paid version of malbytes. I have been told by a tech on another microsoft forum that they might be causing problems and he suggested instead using free Windows Defender for anti virus as well as malware. I never really used AHK for anything else, but the Autocorrect�s ability to be used in all applications was very handy. Unfortunately, for some reason, AHK in Wine doesn�t work, or at least I can�t find where the files are to edit the Autocorrect file.
