Hello, im having command to check and repair (at least i believe) all mysql tables in all databases: Quote: mysqlcheck -u root -p*** --all-databases --check --auto-repair -F -C but on my website i got error message an table is crashed, so i run above command but it just returned like: Quote: myusername_mydbname.prefix_tablename warning : Table is marked as crashed error : Found 10150 keys of 10151 error : Corrupt So i want to ask how i can repair that table using mysqlcheck or any other linux command? I'd like to set up a VPN for those times when I'm out and about and want to connect to the interweb with my laptop through a public wifi. I've read that using a VPN with https is a good way to stay secure but I'm having a hard time finding one that works with Linux and that's also free to use. So, does anyone have a good and free VPN that they're using that they could share with the rest of us? Thanks. P.S. I have been reading up on how to make redhat RPMs. So far, I get them, but for what I am trying to do, I am not sure if it will work. I have used rpmbuild command to include one file. It does not have to compiled, that is, go through the %prep, %build, and %install stages. Once the package is built, I want to install it onto another system so that the file in the rpm package will overwrite the one on the system, i.e., update it. It should be noted that the system that the rpm is being installed on has software that was not originally installed using an RPM, so I do not think an rpm -u command will work. Hello, im running rsync with --bwlimit 10000 and i have around 20% "%wa" value when doing "top" linux command. But when im monitoring io by "iotop" i see average read rate 150Kb/s and writing around 2Mb/s. Verizon isn't taking too kindly to proposed regulations on an upcoming spectrum auction, and is hoping the FCC will change its ways before the sale opens next year. The auction, which will have extremely valuable 600MHz spectrum up for grabs in mid-2015, is expected to have restrictions imposed on it to limit big players like Verizon and AT&T from taking it all for themselves. The FCC is proposing that the auction have rules that will limit any one company from picking up more than a third of the spectrum available in any given market. My question (like many out there) concerns the slated fix by Microsoft for Explorer (8) announced for May 13. That is the warning by US,& UK governments to stop using Explorer until then. I feel that my origional question was misunderstood since the answer supplied ,if I understand it correctly , is giving me information on how to start again from loading the tapes , which is useful if that is what I have to do . So I play at lot of games using my Windows 8 laptop. I have 6 GB of RAM which should be enough to play most games. However, when I run Steam chat and a game, my computer often displays a message say that I'm running out of memory and should close programs. However, my computer never runs out of memory and is only very close to maximum memory useage. I would like to know if there is anyway to disable this message, as it is interfering with my gaming. Hi Guys A strange one! Not sure if this is the right forum for a backup question but I have problems setting up my backup on an internal 1tb disc. 1. On opening the backup wizard and choosing the appropriate drive (E, which has 931gb free) the opening message tells me there's insufficient space for an image backup. 2. I chose custom setup and as I progress through the wizard it askes if I wanted an image backup of drives c and F (F is called "Archives" for my projects). That is a big drive (about 750gb in size) and the reason why it says insufficient space at the start of the wizard. Why is the backup automatically including F and how can I stop it…
