The indie puzzle game Thomas Was Alone has now been ported from the PC and Mac platforms to run on iOS. The game is an immersive adventure that's driven by narration where users control and direct various rectangular shapes, one of which is named Thomas, to exit points at each level. Each shape will have its own unique personality and capability, so the shapes will have to work together to jump and overcome obstacles before arriving at the point of exit. The game is a simple and minimalistic game that is "about friendship and jumping," according to the description posted on Apple's App Store. Promo codes for App Store in-app purchases potentially on the horizon

Based on a current promotion with Real Racing 3 that's offering free in-app purchases, the ability for app developers to hand out promo codes for in-app purchases may be in the works. Currently, those who purchase Real Racing 3 (an EA title) are being offered a "Handful of Gold" via an email promo code to receive in-game currency, which is then redeemed in the App Store. Developers have had the ability to give promo codes to purchase paid apps — often used for giveaways or reviewers — for some time now, but the ability to give away free codes for in-app purchases is a new one. Adobe users still locked out of Creative Cloud after 24 hours

Adobe's Creative Cloud service has been down for a little over a day now and the company is hard at work on restoring the ability to log in and access to Creative Cloud. Stranded users have been reaching out to Adobe with pleas for help as well as venting their frustration on Twitter since the outage began yesterday. According to Adobe, the issue is due to Creative Cloud being "impacted by [an] Adobe login issue." cursor freezes

Using XP on a Dell Diminsion and a new mouse, my curser stops working if I leave it unattended. It has also happened 2x while I was working with the computer. It requires me to turn the computer off and on again to continue working. I played around with it to see if I could notice something on screen or audible but there is nothing noticeable.
