by Guest Asterax- 0 replies

Hi all, I'm seeking advice regarding some challenges with Apple Mail auto-complete email addresses for a friend's AOL mail IMAP account. Main issue: in Apple Mail, recently contacted email addresses are not appearing via auto-complete. As such, I'm doing some research for him and have some questions: - Any resources on how email contacts are managed in Apple Mail? - Any resources on how email contacts are managed in Apple Contacts? What's the difference? I'm not 100% clear how they are linked. - Seeking alternative to Apple Mail for someone who is legally blind. Hello, I am trying to migrate a TCP socket in listening mode from one server to another, to achieve this prupose I am copying multiple parameters related to the tcp_sock, and later I copy the contents of the sk_buff for out-of-order queue, write queue and read queue. My question is it enough just to copy the following fields of the sk_buff, or not: Code: skb->data skb->cb skb->len skb->data_len skb->mac_len skb->hdr_len skb->csum skb->priority skb->ip_summed skb->pkt_type skb->rxhash skb->truesize Or do I need to to copy more extra fields? For the current implmenetation, copying only these fields work perfectly.…

qemu swap usage on vm.swappiness = 0
by Guest seccentral- 0 replies

Hello This is my first post :) *hi* Now to the matter at hand: I have a few servers that run centos 6 64bit and have 64GB ram each. I use those boxes as hypervisors. I have about a few hundred vps's virtualized with KVM. To my astonishment i found at rather random times that some of my VPS's are getting their pids killed for apparently no reason untill i checked the memory usage. Now, on each hypervisor i have about 40 up to 50 GB of ram(on average) allocated and the rest are free (as provided by free -m and top). The swap space however is a different issue (not knowing that i needed it anyway i had it set to 1GB). 1GB was fine up to the point where i deploy…

by Guest Jerry Hildenbrand- 0 replies

Along with all the other new features and enhancements coming to iOS 8, we got out first look at HealthKit. HealthKit provides a single place for all of your health-conscious devices — like a fitness tracker or heart monitor — to sync their data so it's available for apps to use. You'll have complete control over how your data is exposed and which apps have access (and vice-versa) for a fine-tuned experience that should provide exactly what you need, where and how you need it. Apple is working with Nike on the project, as well as the Mayo Clinic (through their app) to take blood pressure readings and provide information to your doctor if any follow-up is needed. Ther…

On their website, the solutions to this problem as given by Microsoft are : Upgrade to Windows 8.1, or, Buy a new PC. But I don't want to upgrade to Windows 8/8.1, even if my PC supports the new OS. Plus, I don't run a business either and nor is my PC used for that purpose. It's a home PC with Windows XP SP3 installed on it. Some help regarding this issue, since I don't want to upgrade to Windows 8/8.1, do I have any alternatives? Also what are the problems that I will have to face (virus/malware et…
