Me and my friend made a server using hamachi and we did everything (e.g.Setting the minecraft server to use hamachi ip) and because i was the host i had minecraft server running and hamachi and my friend had hamachi open as well. He typed the hamachi ip address in the direct connect and it said Java.net exception connection timed out: no further infomation or something like it. Our business keeps getting the following error when sending batch emails to our staff; SMTP1 #550 RATE LIMIT: Too many messages sent in the last 1h Certain messages still go through and I can't find a trend. Our ISP (TalkTalk) has said it is not an issue at their end but a Microsoft SMTP issue. We use a catchall (POP3 email) and distribute to our network via Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 which is running on Microsoft Small Business Server 2011. Thanks Life Boats, Your instructions were a tremendous help to me. There was over 500 malware files on my computer found by MalwareBytes, I also did a defrag and 2 add'l malware popped up. So, I think my computer may be a bit cleaner but it does not answer the question as to why I would have gotten the updates in the first place. The updates appeared as they have in the past with the little yellow icon indicating that "Windows have updates to be installed." Normally when i start up my laptop it connects automatically to the WiFi network. On a day my laptop didn't reacted anymore, during its usage. the sound stayed the same, the screen froze and after a few seconds the screen went black. nothing on my laptop reacted. so i turned it of by holding the power button (i don't know why this did work). now it cant connect to the WiFi, under network adapters there wasn't the WiFi adapter anymore But now it doesn't, it event doesn't have a WiFi adapter anymore. When I attempt a new scan with the feeder (scanning one side) selected, the scanner makes each page into a separate file that is read by the photo program rather than Adobe. In addition, the Brother scanner was reset so that it will no longer scan multiple pages into one file using my Brother program that is loaded into my old computer using Windows 7. Since I followed the advice and opened 'netplwiz' to avoid entering password every time laptop sleeps/logoff, I have had nothing but trouble. Twice, I have had to get codes by telephone, then last night when I entered the code I found under Users, 5 different user accounts all different versions of me??? I purchased Windows 7 Home Premium awhile back. They sent me 2 disks: one was a 32 bit OS, and the other a 64 bit OS. I installed the 32 bit OS. Now I have partitioned the hard drive and also installed the 64 bit OS. Only one product key came with both OS; it is invalid for use with the 64 bit OS. I am trying to access my external hard drives on a Levovo laptop using Windows 7. I have tried plugging them into each USB port and they all show up in My Computer, but when I double click to open them it says the drive is not accessible and access is denied. I performed a system restore on my windows 7 PC. After the restore was finished I go to my computer and I notice that I didn't have any internet access ,so I proceed to check if the network was even showing up and it wasn't. I had a great internet connection before the restore but now I can't connect to any network because none are showing up. I'm seeing a similar problem - last raft of windows updates for my win8.1 x64 machine, everything works fine except the definition update for defender. I've tried downloading the definition update directly and ran the mpas-fex64.exe, which simply returns, no messages, but update still fails. Here's the mpsig* information showing defender's got some dll's out of sync. My guess is this has been failing for awhile. I had this problem recently when i launch Windows Defender on my windows 8 dell laptop that it shows a message that says "An error has occurred during initialization. If this problem continues please contact your system administrator. Error code 0x80092026. although is says that windows defender is working on the action center, i can't quite launch it for scanning purposes. OS: Win 7 64 bit. (not this computer) Problem: Noted that the MSE Icon was red, usually indicating an issue. Opened MSE, expecting that something was found. As soon as MSE icon opened, the icon turned green and all was ok per MSE. I suspected malware as I had been browsing the web and my browser (IE 11) had starting acting odd. Downloaded SpyHunter 4. It found BetterSurf, along with a host of other malware/spyware apps and cookies, which have since been cleaned. Why didn't MSE detect BetterSurf?
