a friend sent me his public key note: i have pgp on opensuse 13.1 running with kgpg - and i have generated a keyset. now i want to send a crypted email to my friend question: with which key i have to sign a mail : with mine or the key of my friend - that is the one that receives the e-mail. in other words: when i open the editor of Kgpg - and paste the message-text into the editor - i subsequently have to sign this: with which keys i do that. - with mine (that is corresponding to my mail ? - or - with one that corresponds to his maiil adreess? need to know that. if i have to write more - let me know.. thanks in advance Continue readin…

top - how to look through processes

Hello First, thanks everyone who helps the new :) If I type top I can see processes currently running on my PC. But how to look through those processes? I can't just scroll down the window, because there are not scroll bars to the right. Total tasks are 83 and I can only see about 20 of them. Can anybody help? thanks Continue reading...

Having trouble installing 14.04 32-bit on Compaq Presario F700 laptop

Hello folks. I've used ubuntu briefly at school and loved it so I wanted to put it on my old laptop. I installed the 14.04 32-bit iso file to a flash drive and booted from there. When I boot, it creates a very funky display error where many versions of the display overlap each other and make it impossible to do anything. I'm guessing this is from a display driver issue but I don't know how to fix it. I am unable to do anything from the live USB because the display is so messed up. Is there a way to put the drivers on the USB and have them work right away from the USB so I can actually install it on my computer? orrr....idk. Is there ANY kind of way I can get this to insta…

Is it possible to Upgrade from Windows XP Pro 32 Bit, to Windows 7 Home Premium 32 Bit. I have the Win 7 Install Disk. My CPU is an Intel E6300 Dual Core, and its supposed to be compatible with 32 or 64 bit. My system is: ASRock MB IDE/AGP-SATA 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0/A/ASR, Intel LGA 775 CPU E6300 2.8Ghz, Memory-2 Crucial-1 Gig each, DDR II-400Mhz 184 pin sticks (but will take DDR II 667/ MHz 240 Pin), HDD: IDE Seagate 320 GB ST 3320620A, NVidia 7600 GS AGP Video Card, Raidmax 500 Watt PS, 2 DVD-RWs.
