by Guest John Callaham- 0 replies

Kensington has bought the rights from Mead to sell a series of universal tablet cases that have the distinctive Trapper Keeper design that was popular for school folders in the 1970s and 80s. The cases are designed to hold most 8-inch and 10-inch tablets, and while in terms of construction and features they are pretty basic the main attraction are the colorful Trapper Keeper designs that are available. Kensington is selling the 8-inch Trapper Kepper tablet case in a red design for $24.99 while the larger 10-inch version is available in …

Let me get straight to the point by giving my steps. 1. Active Internet Sharing from the HTC device 2. Make the wireless connection to the broadcast name of the HTC device 3. I check for IP/DNS addrresses given to the laptop by the ATT network 4. I open Chrome (tried with IE also), to connect to a web page. Fails I receive "web page not available" error message. When I follow all the above steps on my Windows 7 Pro laptop (both Dell products), the connection works and web pages load successfully. Continue reading...

I keep on getting a low memory message each time I open a specific game(Warface)? Help?!
by Guest Hugg1es- 0 replies

I downloaded the game Warface by Cryptek to play but when I run it I get a popup from my computer saying I'm running low on memory. This popup only appears when I run the game. I am pretty sure it is a memory leak but have no clue how to fix it. I can ignore the popup and continue playing but I am worried I might break my computer. I checked my task manager and it says I have 1.9 GB in use and 3.9 GB Available. My PC is fairly new. I've only had it for about 5 months. Here is a picture of the popup: Continue reading...

Windows 7 Sony Vaio E-Series not allowing me to play games in fullscreen
by Guest Semanari- 0 replies
So I have been having this problem where when I launch a game like Garry's Mod or Space Engineers or Team Fortress 2 on Steam (not sure about launching them without Steam, and I do not have many games without it) I get a black screen on my main monitor (My laptop monitor, and my second screen when I set that to main monitor and attempted to launch the game) with no mouse or anything. The second monitor is on and works fine but on my laptop monitor it is pitch black. If I tab out (Which does not fix the constant black screen) I can actually move my mouse over to the second monitor and do things on it. There are only two ways I have been able to fix this. One, I use ctrl al…

Replace a copy of win 7 without a C.O.A or disk. with a copy of Win 7 with a C.O.A. and disk.
by Guest ChristopherMorrisVI- 0 replies

Hi I have just bought a computer with an activated copy of Win 7 - 64 bit but no disk or C.O.A. I have a full retail version with both disks 32 & 64 bit, the C.O.A. which is unused and not activated. I want install my copy so I can re-install it if need be. I want to do this WITHOUT doing a format because of other gear which is on the hard drive which I want to keep - Win Office with no disk either. Will I be able to do this. The Win Office software is a "install x number of copies onto computers with one disk" type product. It should be straight forward but I thought I'd ask the question anyway. Also, maybe there is a way to just…

All 5 network adapters stopped working
by Guest PhilipKnowles99- 0 replies
I have a number of network adapters installed on my Lenovo 3000 N200 including wired and wireless connections, internet tethered phone connection and VPN for Blackberry. Last week all of these suddenly stopped working at the same time so I upgraded drivers and tried different connections all to no avail. The machine will not connect to the local network or the internet by any means at all. On the wireless connection utility I can see my router and everyone else's in the street, but a connection cannot be made either by wireless or cable to the router or to the modem itself. This sounds like a common-mode failure but I don't know where it might be as I have check…

How to Remove Movie Mode on Windows 8?
by Guest xnkng- 0 replies
Movie Mode is an ad type of virus I think and I can't seem to uninstall it from the control panel. Ads are popping up onto pages unnecessarily and I can't seem to click on Norton (the anti virus software); but I know its definitely still running. When I click on uninstall, it comes up as "Error Launching Installer." I have tried to google this but I'm worried it would just be a fake method. The only thing I was able to do is remove it from the extensions from tools on google chrome. Someone help me please! Continue reading...
