by Guest James_Wallace- 0 replies

Hi there, Having an issue with Automatic Maintenance ever since I returned from a 10 day vacation to Greece. Basically Action Center is telling me to run maintenance to optimize my computer, I run it and then around 15 minutes later, it stops and the message just reappears saying I need to run maintenance. The only things that take up any CPU during the maintenance are the Service Host: Disk Defragmenter and System. The run date is also clocked properly. I tried to System Restore to a date before I went on vacation (back when it was working perfectly fine) and then perform the maintenance, however the same thing happened. Although it said this time my anti virus …

I have no external devices attached to my computer and I have not made any changes, except I downloaded the update of my Norton antivirus protection. Completely disable ease of access center while playing a game
by Guest ChristopherBeebe- 0 replies
I want to be able to completely disable all of the ease of access center while I'm playing a game that relies on the same keys that activates the ease of access center. For example, if I repeatedly press the SHIFT key, which might be a JUMP action in a first-person shooter, it tries to activate StickyKeys. Or, if I press and hold SHIFT, which might be the throttle in a racing simulator, it tries to open up FilterKeys. In such cases it is annoying. Is there any way to completely disable all of it so it doesn't interfere with the main focus, such as the game? Continue reading...
