Tim Cook reiterated the importance of the Chinese market on the last day of his trip to China, saying that Apple wants everything they do to work in the country. This includes Apple Pay. If you're using Apple Pay on your iPhone or iPad, you may have already realized that you can add multiple cards that you can toggle between when making purchases. Even better yet, for times when you don't want to launch Passbook at all, or just to make the process even quicker, you can choose a default payment card. Real-world adventure game Ingress will be celebrating its second birthday this year, and it's doing so in style. Google's Niantic Labs, which runs the game, will be kicking off the celebration with a new monthly event series called "First Saturdays" which will serve to bring new Ingress "agents" into the fold. GT Advanced Technologies has officially reached a settlement with Apple in a deal that lines up with the one reported earlier this week. GT will wind down its sapphire production in Arizona and Massachusetts, and they will retain the right to sell their production materials. As part of the settlement, GT Advanced will be let out of any exclusivity agreement with Apple. Last week, Hollywood trade publications said that actor Christian Bale was in talks to play Apple's late founder Steve Jobs in an upcoming biopic. Now the movie's screenwriter Aaron Sorkin has confirmed that not only has Bale won the role of Jobs but predicts that he "is gonna crush it." In an interview with Bloomberg Television, Sorkin said that while there was a meeting with Bale to discuss the role, he didn't have to actually audition for the part of Jobs, saying, "We needed the best actor on the board in a certain age range and that's Chris Bale." Apple CEO Tim Cook has confirmed that the company plans to open up 25 retail stores in China within the next two years. According to an interview transcript published on Chinese web portal Sina, Apple is looking to expand on its 15 outlets currently located in the country. Cook also recently visited a Foxconn factory in China. Calling it an early highlight of his China trip, Cook even posed for a photo with a worker and posted it to Twitter.
