How to get a mouse smoother in games

Hello I am using Ubutnu 12.04. I am also using a 1000 DPI mouse. In the system the precision of the mouse leaves a lot to be desired. My monitor is 16:10. In windows there is a TICk 'improve mouse precision' - after ticking it the cursor of the mouse seems improved. But the system is not the problem. What is worse, in games aiming at your opponents is far from satisfactory. No precision at all. Is there a way to improve the mouse cursor? I'm fairly new to ubuntu/linux, so I am lost as to how to fix this problem. I am trying to run this file with the command "sudo ./cloudera-manager-installer.bin" and I get a Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")") What does that mean and how can I fix it for the terminal to run the file? the terminal recognizes the file and it is executable. Amazon has unveiled a music streaming service, dubbed Prime Music, that will be offered for free to all existing Amazon Prime subscribers. Amazon mentions that consumers can choose from over 1 million songs from the catalog at launch, and is also offering a 30-day fee trail for non-Prime members to check out the service. One specific program won't print: due to indicated Spooler subserv app problem. What to do? Prints OK from MSWord, but the Memorex CD Label program stalls at that point. Everyone else seems happy.
