The Apple Watch, like all of Apple's products, has accessibility built right in. Devices like the Apple Watch can be convenient, even empowering for many people. For those with accessibility needs, however, they can be life changing. They can let people go where they could never go before, speak with people they could never reach before, and see the world in ways that were once impossible. What's more, by making the Apple Watch accessible and inclusive to people who are blind or have visual impairments, deaf or have auditory impairments, or who have motor skill or learning or other challenges, Apple makes it more accessible and inclusive to everyone. The Apple Watch…

It appears that Foxconn may remain Apple's primary manufacturing partner this year, and will reportedly produce the vast majority of iPhone units, along with other upcoming products. Foxconn, also known as Hon Hai, will reportedly remain as Apple's primary manufacturing partner in China, and will apparently receive up to 70% of the orders for this year's new iPhone models, according to KGI Securities' Ming-Chi Kuo. Foxconn is also said to be the sole manufacturer for the rumored 12.9-inch iPad Pro, which is due out this fall, again according to Kuo. Apple's latest changes to the 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display and iMac with 5K Retina display won't wow spec-monkeys, but they're still important. The timing of this week's 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro and the 5K iMac updates was curious, given that WWDC is only a few weeks away. My bet is that Apple has other things planned for the keynote and doesn't want these updates overshadowed. The 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro got a couple of other under-the-hood features worth noting. The 15-inch Retina MacBook's headline feature was the addition of the same Force Touch trackpad we've seen Apple use on the new MacBook and the 13-inch MacBook Pro. After using the …

If you belong to several groups on Facebook, notifications can get annoying incredibly fast. When you join a new group on Facebook, you're automatically subscribed to all notifications by default. That means your notifications feed can end up being littered with unnecessary alerts every time someone posts something to that group. That's exactly the problem iMore reader Katelin recently ran into: I am a member of a few groups on Facebook. I find them useful, but I don't need to receive notifications on my iPhone or see information in my news feed every single time someone makes a post. How do I stop this? I feel your pain and had the same problem with Faceboo…

Users of Facebook Messenger should now be able to engage in a video call with every other user of the popular messaging app worldwide, with a few exceptions. Your Faces album won't sync across your computers — but there's another way to see that collection across your devices. I like being able to see images of certain family members at a glance — it's helpful for building birthday cards, for instance, or finding great blackmail photos — and it's why I've always loved the Faces feature. But with Photos for OS X, your tagged Faces won't sync between your Macs — they live, siloed, on the machine where you first tagged them. This is silly, and something I hope Apple fixes in the next Photos for OS X update. Until they does so, however, you're not completely out of organizational luck: There's a sneaky work-around to get …

  24. Hi Everyone, Today we have a new build for PCs going out to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring – Build 10122. I usually start these posts with the fun stuff at the top but want to call out our only big known Issue here right away – if you’re using an AMD GPU you’re likely to run into frequent crashes in Microsoft Edge (still branded as “Project Spartan” in this build.) If you want to avoid that, simply go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update > Advanced and change to the Slow ring to sit this one out. We’re working with our partners at AMD on new drivers which should prevent the issue and will update this post once they’re released. Other than…
