   I haven’t used Windows for years, but need to now. When I start up and try to log in, it shows one account only, and says my password is incorrect. I went on another computer, logged in to accounts.live.com and successfully reset my password, BUT my computer stills keeps rejecting this new password, too! I can’t change the only User account it defaults to, to change it to a different one, and I can’t get it to accept my new reset CORRECT password!It’s Windows 8.SOS! Please help! Thank you!    Hi I'm got into a mess with my son's Asus notepad unning windows 8.1, I realise it's quite old but he uses for very simple stuff. The problem is that the system has crashed and is causing problems with the administration password which I added some time ago and totally forgot it...I have tried and tried to solve the problem but as I took over pretty much rights it now is stopped me to change anything, I am now in trouble with my boy as his quite attached to his own notebook and even offered to replace but no he wants this one, it has no CD and windows was preloaded!    Hi.I bought a Windows surface with Windows 8 and reseted it to factory settings. It is connected to my Microsoft account, but I don't seem to be able to run .exe files. I'm trying to install Google Chrome on it but it says "This app can't run on your PC". I tried using regedit to put .exe to exefiles and both exefile and open to "%1"%*, but I still see the same error. Why might that be?    I have had this Gateway computer since December 2012 but have not updated it at all so im sure it's still running on Windows 8 to be exact.     Lap top running Windows 8. Problem. After recent update, was signed in on a temporary profile. Tried several attempts to re sign in as directed by pop up box but no joy.     I have a desktop hard drive and with windows 8 installed. No wifi or data connection. Hard Disk is of 250GB and have 3 partitions on it. Locked one partition by bitlocker using a password.     Hi,I have an asus windows 8 gaming laptop, it worked last week but I just can’t get it to turn on now. It turns on and says preparing automatic repair. Then diagnosing your pc, and then blue screen. I don’t know what to do. I have restarted multiple times, shut down, tried command prompts and it keeps returning to the same blue screen.
