Overview IoT and OT devices are increasingly becoming a major attack vector for organizations of all sizes. While the impact of these attacks can paralyze entire industries and countries, defending against these attacks has traditionally involved disparate tools that often suffered from poor integration and disconnect from the overall security program. And while IT and OT environments have historically been disconnected, securing them effectively requires a unified approach.   Today, we are excited to announce the public preview of our Defender for IoT solution for Microsoft Sentinel. When developing with Azure Maps, in many cases, most of the functionality you need is available out of the box, but sometimes you need some extra power. For example, when you have a use case where you need to render 2D or 3D data on top of the map and the built-in functionality is not enough, the custom WebGL layer is an option. WebGL is a cross-platform, royalty-free open web standard for low-level 3D graphics in your browser. Azure Maps uses WebGL to render the map, significantly benefiting performance over drawing directly on the standard HTML canvas. However, because WebGL is a low-level programming model, it can be highly complex and is not always the best choice if …

Continuing on from the last post in which we used Azure API Management's (APIM) Synthetic GraphQL feature to create a GraphQL endpoint for my blog, I wanted to explore how to add a completely new field to our type - Related Posts. Using the schema editor in APIM I added a new field to the Post type of related(tag: String): [Post!], so our type now looks like this: type Post { id: ID! title: String! url: Url! date: Date tags: [string!]! description: String content: String! related(tag: String): [Post!] } The way this field resolver will work is that if you provide a tag argument to related then it'll return post…
