  2. We currently have Microsoft Defender for Endpoint for our Windows 11 Devices. Upon checking the devices in security portal most of them have "NOT UP TO DATE" PLATFORM. We tried the following to update the MDE on the clients: Get-WindowsUpdate -Install -KBArticleID KB4052623 -> RestartUpdate-MpSignature -> RestartManual update by going to Virus & Threat Protection Settings -> RestartBut we only see update on Security Intelligence. For MDE Platform it is stuck on Version 4.18.24080.9. What are we missing?

  5. Request to enable the assignment of decrypt permissions to multiple groups independently. Currently, we can assign the decrypt permission to only one group. In our case, this requires a universal group in our forest containing both domain admins and Tier 2 admins. However, combining these two roles into a single group poses a security risk, as it increases the potential for mismanagement. Best practices generally advise against merging such privileged administrative groups. Because of this limitation we have disabled the new encryption feature. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks!

  8. I’m pleased to announce that Microsoft has acquired InMage, an innovator in the emerging area of cloud-based business continuity. Our customers tell us that business continuity – the ability to backup, replicate and quickly recover data and applications in case of a system failure – is incredibly important. After all, revenue, supply chains, customer loyalty, employee productivity and more are on the line. It’s also very complicated and expensive to do. CIOs consistently rank business continuity as a top priority, but often don’t have the budgets or time to do it right. As the productivity and platform company for the mobile-first, cloud-first world, Microsoft is commit…
