hi my name is milton i recently bought a nero dvd-r and i am having trouble copying a movie i'm using verbatim 8x dvd+r and my drive ejects my blank dvd-r disc and on my screen is no room on disc use dvd+r9 is it possible that i'm not using the right speed to fit a movie on the blank disc if so how do i change recording speed :(

I am running XP Home sp1 and my Gforce2 mx400 video card has been working fine since I bought it (more than 6 months). Now XP shows there is a driver problem. I unistalled the driver and downloaded the current driver from Nividia. When the computer is restarted xp starts to load until it gets to the point of loading the video driver then it restarts everytime. I can only get in with safemode. I uninstalled the card in safemode and restarted. The machine restarts, windows finds the card and installs it fine, until a reboot and the same problem happens again. Help, what can I do? :confused:

Hello, I have Win Xp with 2 hard drives. My fist HD is a SATA and that shows up as drive C: It is recognized as secondary Master. My second HD (my old one) is a UDMA connected to either the primary IDE or the secondary IDE connnector either as master or slave. It either does not show up at all, or I get the windows blue screen. I got a "Western Digital Data Lifeguard Tools" CD with my SATA, but when I load it, I get a "corrupted file" error msg. How can a commmercial disk have corrupted files? Jim

Good day, I have a BENQ DVD+RW model DW800A and it can only read & write normal CD's. When inserting a DVD movie or empty DVD+RW disks nothing happens it can't see them at all. Is there a remedy or is the drive faulty? :confused:

When I try to play any type of video my computer freezes and I have to reboot. i bought a PNY Verto Geforcefx 5200 a few months ago, and it worked fine with the old driver, but when i installed the lastest one, my cpu crashed and re-starts itself after 10 sec. in to a game like Half-Life 2, or AOM (age of mythology). what could the problem be?... these games worked when i was running the old driver... why does it not work now?... any help guys? :confused: :confused: :confused:

I have had an external HDD that i put together for several months now, and it has always worked fine. the other night it started making bad noises and wasn't recognized by windows, or rather is recognized but doesn't "install" (shows up in device manger with an "!"). As i was trying to find if the error was with the drive (seagate Baracudda ST3200822A 200gb ata-100) or the enclosure (kingwin KH-350U-S) i found that the drive works fine when just hooked up to the ide channel on my motherboard, and the enclosure works just fine with another drive (old WD 120 gb ata-100). putting them back together the way i want it goes back the the same problem (wierd noises, not instal…

Iam trying to get my scanner to load when turning on my computer.It use to load but something changed the settings and now stimon i.e.still imaging monitor is not in the start-up tab in msconfig but is still on my system(win98se). How can I get stimon back into the proper place? Thanks, norm1

Hi, I just wanted to know is anyone could help me, I'm kind of scared. The thing is I had this computer AMD Athlon 2800+, 768 ram, a7v600x asus mobo, 80 gb hdd and gforce fx 5200. It had no problem, but i wanted a better video card, so I bought a radeon 9800 pro, I instaled and the pc started working perfect, I used it for almost 24 hours without gaming much, I just entered the games to see the difference but didn't play more than a couple minutes because i didn't have the time. Hi all. I recently perchased a philips pcs 605, and came acropper. I uninstalled and disabled my onboard audio in the Bios, and installed the card. Now, at random points in films, tracks or watever, the computer totally freezes. I am really stuck and have tried the phiips tech support with no joy (including changing the Irq and the Latency). hello everyone, I've encountered a frustating problem. A friend of mine wanted me to update his computer and the first thing i did was to run a windows update since it appeared to me that it has not been done in awhile. After installing the updates and restarting, I noticed that the computer was slightly slower and I was no longer able to connect to the internet. I went into run cmd and pinged some website addresses. The computer had no problem sending data, but received only the packets that the ping sent. Hi all, I'm new here, and this seems like a good place to get some support so I'll just go right ahead and explain what my problem is. Well, here's what im trying to do. I have a Mobile Phone that has bluetooth. I have a bluetooth adapter on my PC. I have set it up so my phone D+ Connects (Direct connects, if you will) to my BlueTooth adapter on my PC. Then the PC routs this BlueTooth adapter to a vitrual com port. I have set up my PC to recieve incomming connections from this Com port. With this done, my phone and PC become their own little LAN. I have a Dell PC from 2001 which came with some MSN modem connection wizard...I never used it... I now have cable and I've tried to connect to the net... I wish to purchase New PC with HT technology MB, So i decided to go with Asus P5gd1-vm 915 chipset, I wish to have 2.4 MHz CPU, but somebody told me its not supported, is it correct ? Now that Sonic Solutions has accquired the Roxio software easy media creator and it's other software, do you think they will do a better job of making the software actually work? Most people know what easy CD creator (now called easy media creator) was nicknamed for.....EASY CD CREMATOR! Because basically.....it killed your cd's and dvd's. I just wonder if the software will get any better development and improve in features, but also just be able to WORK properly???? Or do you think this will just be another buyout by a large company that will do nothing to improve the products they are buying?

Hi all, first of all sorry for my english I'm doing a backup from one server to other but as I use a mapped drive I must be logged in the server, because one is in one workgroup an other in other work group.
