When i copied folders from one harddisk to another harddisk, oulook express not showing all folder but folders are there. how can we are able to show all folders thanks

Hello Everyone, I have an old P166 Gataway that I left in the basement for about 10 month after I bought a new PC. Last week, I hooked up it again hoping to find an old file I had. It did not start and asked for the start up disk. When I start it with the Win 98 start up disk, I got a error message saying that the hard drive is not partitioned (no FAT32). I was able to run SCANDISK.exe for drive C from the MS-DOs prompt and it said no errow was detected. Could any one help me as what to do next so I could recover some of the files I had in the old machine? Thanks

im really curious to see what you guys think, maybe you could settle a big argument in my household. With an internet cable modem connection that is a shared bandwith, how much does this shared bandwith affect internet gaming such as online poker? does opening a browser for normal internet activities(not downloading huge files) while playing online increase your chances of having your game bogged down? With a shared bandwith is it safe to say that in order for my connection to slow down to the point where gaming connections are affected everyone in my neighborhood would have to be online downloading huge files? any opinions are appreciated thanks!

Downloaded SpyBot....started having immediate problems, constant error messages. Have now deleted SpyBot, downloaded Spy Sweeper instead. IExplore message still occurring: "this program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If problem persists, contact the program vendor." Details: IExplore caused an invalid page fault in module kernel32.dll @ 1097: bff87f00. Can anyone help me? I would greatly appreciate it. I have Windows 98. This is my first time on this site.

I have added the server to the domain, added as a member server but everytime I authorize it it says to wait a few moments for the authorization. Under the DHCP panel it shows the server as being "not authorized" but when I go to the Action menu to authorize it the authorize option says unauthorize? Can anyone help me?

A crashed hard dirve cased me to have to restore from an image after maxing several passes at wich check disk this was sucessfull for the most part. Now the system has no items listed in the sound events eveen though some sound events are working. the system is a windows 2000 profesional system How do I restore the sound events.

Hello, I just purchased a "game port" Microsoft steering wheel used for cheap. Problem is my computer does not have a game port to accept this type of plug. My machine is brand new 02-2005 and is loaded with USB's. Additionally my machine runs XP. Is there any way to make this wheel work with my computer? Please Help Thanks :(

i am running windows 98 on my computer. everytime i try to start the comp it automatically goes to safemode...i have gone to the startup menu where u can select safemode ,normal mode etc. but even when i select normal mode it will load in safemode. how do i get out of it??? thanks for any help.

Hi, I have a problem with my Mandrake 10.1 box. Since earlier today, I haven't been able to get it running- it would go through the boot cycle, and then turn itself off about 1 minute later, leaving me with about 20 seconds where I could actually tunnel in with SSH. The box has no monitor attached to it, and therefore SSH is the only solution to me seeing what's going on. Since it only spares me with those precious 20 seconds, I can't really see much at all. Would any of you guys have any idea as to what is going on? Absolutely any ideas are welcomed. Thanks

I have problem with a C# Win Forms app that uses the ErrorProvider class to provide input validation feedback to the user. On my development workstation (WinXP Pro + Visual Studio .NET 2003), when I run the app by itself or from VS, everything works fine... the ErrorProvider tooltips display correctly, etc. However, on other systems (e.g., Win 2003 Server, or even another PC running XP Pro), after the app enters validation mode, the error tooltips don't display at all when the pointer is hovered on the error icon. if anybody can help please? i am running nero ver 6.3.1.26 and in cd 4.3.11.1 on desk top and laptop, both with windows xp ser pack 2. my external writer Freecom on the lap top formats CD -RW as INCDFS format and sucessfully enables me to drag and drop files onto the cd-rw and erase files. My desktop internal LG 16X Double layer DVD/Cd RW, however formats the same make of cd-rw as UDFRDR which does not allow me to drag and drop, erase etc as it gives the message the disk is write protected. Is there a way i can format my disks on the desk top to recognise the incdfs format. i was hoping with using the same software on both machines i could swap the same disk between the …

I've been trying to burn some data to DVDs using a DVD writer I'm borrowing from my roomate, and am experiencing some problems. The first disc burned fine, but subsequent discs have failed early in the burn with 'power calibration failure' errors. I've tried several discs (all from the same spindle, though), as well as restarting the burning app (Nero 5), restarting the machine, and reseating all of the drive connectors. Any thoughts as to what might cause an error like that?

I am running XP Home sp1 and my Gforce2 mx400 video card has been working fine since I bought it (more than 6 months). Now XP shows there is a driver problem. I unistalled the driver and downloaded the current driver from Nividia. When the computer is restarted xp starts to load until it gets to the point of loading the video driver then it restarts everytime. I can only get in with safemode. I uninstalled the card in safemode and restarted. The machine restarts, windows finds the card and installs it fine, until a reboot and the same problem happens again. Help, what can I do? :confused:

Hello, I have Win Xp with 2 hard drives. My fist HD is a SATA and that shows up as drive C: It is recognized as secondary Master. My second HD (my old one) is a UDMA connected to either the primary IDE or the secondary IDE connnector either as master or slave. It either does not show up at all, or I get the windows blue screen. I got a "Western Digital Data Lifeguard Tools" CD with my SATA, but when I load it, I get a "corrupted file" error msg. How can a commmercial disk have corrupted files? Jim

Good day, I have a BENQ DVD+RW model DW800A and it can only read & write normal CD's. When inserting a DVD movie or empty DVD+RW disks nothing happens it can't see them at all. Is there a remedy or is the drive faulty? :confused:
