I am using Windows Vista Business Edition. I am trying to install Games and other features, but when I select any of the options in "Turn Windows Features On or Off", nothing happens. The window with "Please wait while the features are configured" appears for a few seconds but there is no activity. When I check, the features have not been installed. Previous version of Microsoft OS, you can simply go to folder option to edit the file types and check the "Confirm open after download". However, this option cannot be found in vista. How do I go abt doin this?

When I try to hide the icons in the taskbar tray, I can't make changes. I pull up the list of icons, click on the down arrow to the right of the desired action and the drop down list of actions doesn't drop down. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
