I have WinXP+SP2, it works stable for many days (24/7) without rebooting and turning off. But sometimes it stops to turn on it's screen saver and does not turn off it's screen. Repetitive inputs the settings through Control Panel do not fix the problem. This could be fix by rebooting or sometimes this is fixing by itself. I could not catch what is the source. Prompt me please, what can be cause and how I can fix it without rebooting. Thank you Lev

I found my problem. While I was installing Windows Vista, I received the message "Windows will copy startup files to the d: drive" or something like that. Anyway, I didnt want my D: drive to have anything to do with the operating system so I stopped the install and removed my D: drive and restarted the install. After the install was complete, I put my D: drive back in but it didnt register as a drive although it showed up in disk manager as a healthy drive with no partition. I thought it was that I had it formatted as FAT32 but it was always NTFS, the partition just got damaged, probably when Windows Vista tried to change it without first getting my…

When using Windows XP & Msft Word and listings different fonts, a desired font TOUJOURS is listed. However, when I go to Control Panel, FONTS, "TOUJOURS" is not listed. There is a listing, however, for many fonts with name "TT005m" or starting off with '" TT " followed by different numbers. How can I learn which font in the Control Panel's font folder is TOUJOURS? best, Aaron

Having just got new laptop with Vista installed and all PowerPoint files added, am having problems with presentation when played through the projector. The problem is that the mpg movies play on the computer but not through the projector. Other movie files (wmv and avi) connect properly. After playing around with computer, the same files play through the projector but do not appear on the computer. The secret is to find how to get both to work.

Ever since I tried to install a new driver for my Hewlett Packard psc 1315 printer, booting Windows Vista Ultimate in normal mode gives error 0xC004E002, "The Software Licensing Service reported that the license store contains inconsistent data." The system just displays this error in a box on a black screen, and I am only able to access Windows Help or Internet Explorer (no start bar or control panel). I have tried restoring the system to before the installation of the new driver, but to no avail. I think that maybe reactivating Windows or changing the activation key could help, but these options are not available in safe mode or in the recovery panel of …

It was reported today that Kevin John Panzke, the noted Republican Right Wing Nut Job has been lurking around the hospital where President Bush is suppose to have his Colon procedure. Kevin was heard saying, I would give anything to see the Top Republican Colon of the United States, Just FYI. That would mean more to me than installing Windows 2008 Public Beta Server, Just FYI. The spokesman for the hospital said there is one in every crowd. It is expected. When we heard it was Kevin, we just said, Oh my GOD. Just FYI

The Kevin Panzke Syndrome is a term used when a person has certain limitations in mental functioning and in skills such as communicating, taking care of him or herself, and social skills. These limitations will cause a poster to learn and develop more slowly than a typical poster. Former Postal Employees with Kevin Panzke Syndrome may take longer to learn to speak, walk, and take care of their personal needs such as dressing or eating. They are likely to have trouble learning in school, and posting to Microsoft newsgroups. They will learn, but it will take them longer. There may be some things they cannot learn. They keep trying.
