I have a SBS 2003 R2 wih ISA Svr 2004 and until last friday my XP Pro laptop was working fine wih an AT&T (Option GT Max 3.6 Express) for everywhere access. I had a VPN connection configured and everything was fine. I made an upgrade to Vista Business and I'm having problems with the VPN connection. The symptom is: Before connecting to VPN, I do have Internet access, but after supplying credentials for VPN connections, everything seems fine: the connection is active and the Firewall Client icon appears connected but I cannot access my Intranet (companyweb), Internet and Network resources. I've applied what KB articles 930163 and 929853 state. I've tried …

Hi I have Vista Ultimate installed as an overgrade to Premium. How do I turn off sub-titles (or close captions) when watching TV in media center, it only appears on some channels and only on the freeview digital (British) service, I have tried all settings including closed captions. It's so frustrating as I have purchased external tuners to try and resolve it, whose software is abysmal for programming etc. The sub-titles etc, do not appear when using third party software, only in Media Center, and with any tuner configured within it, which has eliminated any on board hardware issues. Thanks anyone in anticipation, you'll be my hero forever if I can resol…

I can play audio and video on my DVD/CD-ROM drive (HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GWA4164B), but when I try to read a data disc, it does not show any files (or allow me to open anything). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, updating the driver, to no avail. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

If you zip files without saving the folders list Windows XP will allow access to the zipped files. If the zip file is trying to create folders, it will not allow access if the zipped file was obtained from the internet. Also, don't know if the copy to FAT32 will work or not, but I do intend to try it. Hope this helps. -- tmckeon_PE ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tmckeon_PE's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=28630 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=322866 http://forums.techarena.in
