Hello.When I reconnect my USB mouse and keyboard,the new hardware wizard appears requesting software/drivers.It ask for the HID compliant software. It searches for the software on the harddrive,after the installation no install wizard.Unless I unplug the mouse and keyboard.My OS is WIN XP SP2 MEDIA ED. Thanks Regards,Mike

Guys, whenever i indert a dvd into my DVD-RAM and open d dvd folder, vista doesn't respond until d DVD contents r properly displayed. This happens with all dvds n cd's. Im on Ultimate with LG DVD drive, AMD X2 3800+, 2gb RAM, 256 dedicated video memory. Is this a problem of my DVD drive??

I just upgraded to a laptop with Vista Enterprise and Office 2007 Enterprise Plus. Everything seems to work just great, EXCEPT when I try to send just a simple test message it hangs in the outbox and continues to send (at least it thinks it is sending). By looking at the "Send/receive Progress" box, it loops and continues to count sending and receiving (hundreds of times). It receives with no problem. I am having a seriously annoying issue with Windows Vista that seems to be related to events that occur after i reboot my system, after installing the updates available. I install Windows Vista (fresh installation) and afterwards go about updating the OS. THe update process proceeds almost effortlessly. I use the dialer program, dialer.exe in Win2K. (your laugh here <g>) I have entered dozens of phone numbers into the directory, and use it quite often just to dial my phone. Recently, I installed WinXp on another partition to evaluate it, and am using it more often that I thought I would, so I would like to be able to use the dialer when in XP, but I cannot find the file, in the Win2K install partition, that holds all those entries. Before Vista, I had adobe Gamma. it would modify the screen any way I wanted, then save it as default.icm And XP loaded default.icm when it booted. I now have Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver. It has all the adjustments etc as adobe gamma. but just a SAVE button. I adjust it and adjust it and save and save. And finally just stuck it on a them, and now I have to hand load the them every boot. Greetings Fellow Vista Users, My question is simple. When sending multiple applications to the recycle bin I notice it does not tell me the entire MB I am about to delete as XP and the other bins have. Is there a setting I am overlooking to get the total MB of all the stuff in the recycle bin at any one time? Probably a stupid question, but one that I have been unable to solve on my own. I have had experience with the "restore " feature if anyone is interested though. Thanks for the patience and any answers in advanve. Richard

When I run either ITunes or Printshop v20 my HP 2610 all-in-one printer goes nuts. All the panel lights flash and it becomes unusable until I remove the power cord and plug it back in. The same thing happens when I run the software from my HP notebook and my desktop computer. The printer is connected to both computers via a wired network. I have tried changing the network address for the printer numerous times without result. Anyone have any suggestions???? Thanks!

Hi, I have Windows XP home edition and when I try to update my windows , the PC turns off and the update is not finishing. Another problem ( maybe it is related) is that when I start my computer, a red led from the start buton flashes,and the PC do not starts. I have to push it twice to start it. Thank you very much. Oana
