The newly appointed King of Ubuntu after Alias left is our mascot Kevin. What happened to Ubuntu Kevin? Was it too complicated for you? I thought you loved Ubuntu? First you loved Vista, then you loved Windows 2008 Server, then you loved Ubuntu, now you are back to Windows 2008 Server. Just FYI Oh leader of computing. Guide us! Give us direction on what platform to use. Us mere mortals need direction in our lives and we look up to you for that direction. Just FYI. What now? Will you be looking to Radio Shack for their next release? How about Nintendo? I hear PlayStation 3 has an incredible system? Just FYI. Will the next release of an OS …

Signing into Windows Live Mail, when a simple jpg/gif logo is placed in the upper left corner and saved as a Stationery, during compose it's necessary to enter key several lines down below the text to avoid overwrite of the script. Also, some users receive the email with the overwrite of script on top of logo. Any guesses how to cement the logo in place above text?

I am running Vista Ultimate 32 bit. I've been away for a week and switched my computer on first time after that yesterday. Event viewer is now full of messages (event Id.1035 source MsiInstaler) appearing between yesterday and today, indicating the following for almost all my applications (example for Adobe Reader shown here): Windows Installer reconfigured the product. Product Name: Adobe Reader 7.0.9. Product Version: 7.0.9. Product Language: 1033. Reconfiguration success or error status: 0. Anybody knows what is happening?

We have a self built application which we use to administer our work related documents, which stores all information into a specific folder and sub folders as required. Of late we are having problems where a number of users are accessing the folder outside of this program and accidentally moving folders they shouldn't be (and then not owning up and leaving us to find out later). How can I monitor these folders and record who is moving them and where they move them to? I've tried using the audit tab but all this shows is what privileges are used by a user, assuming I have set them up right. Andrew.

Hello, I am preping for the 292 and 296 exams and going back to read through Manasi's bible. Been working with server and AD for awhile, but some of these options I have never done and its got me confused. Hope someone can help. 1. When performing an unattended install, you just run the Setupmgr.exe and answer the questions as an Unattended install. I have done this for Sysprep when ghosting clients. Then changed the answer file to "winnt.sif" and copy it to a floppy. Put the Cd and floppy into the server and then hit space bar when prompted to boot from CD. Sound correct? 2.
