Hello group, I am working on a performance issue. This is on a Windows 2003 Standard server SP1 with Office 2003. The hardware is a 2 dual-core 32- bit system with 4 GB of memory. There are several legacy applications that send data to Excel using DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange). The apps run under terminal services, with multiple users running multiple copies. How do I get them back (I've tried clicking Default)? -- Nigel M

I'm having a problem with the VPN connection on my PC. I'm running XP-Pro and I am connected to the internet via my home lan, to a cable router. I have also recently installed a new network connection to my workplace using a VPN. Clearly I go over the same physical lan connection to my router. My problem is this. Whenever I come out of hibernation, e.g. I put the PC into sleep mode when I leave the room for an extended period, when I take it out of sleep mode, the VPN connection dialogue box comes up if I fire up IE or Outlook Express. I still connect via my router to ISP but the dialogue box continues to appear when I navigate between pages. The only way to …
