I have a couple of things I'd like to maybe hook up with Win 98 on. One is a old Trend Micron Trek II (NT 2000). The other is a an old thing (NT 2000) on this one (60GB). Any reason either of these wouldn't be OK on Win 98?

I tried to log in and I'm getting a message that the User Profile can not be loaded. No one has used my computer since I last shut it down. I'm using Vista 64 and I have 2 profiles, my main admin profile and my sons profile that is under parental control. My main profile is not loading and when I try to do any sort of admin function under my son's profile it asked for my password to get my admin rights, well that doesn't work. I can log into Vista 32 I have installed as a dual boot on this computer so I have some access but still limited. I'm looking for any ideas as to how I can resolve this issue. Thanks.

This is something that is driving me nuts. With 1/2 the computers in my network the Ctrl-Alt-Del logon screen has square corners and looks like the "classic" style rather than the rounded Edges and nice colour smoothing of the XP Style. I can't figure out why. Reinstalling fixed the issue so I know it is a setting. It doesn't seem to have to do with refresh rate or colour etc. I have even copied over the default users profile in case it was a setting there. Any ideas how to get it back without reinstalling? Windows XP style is there when users login.

Hello. I know the answer is probably staring me in the face, but I was wondering how to copy a shortcut to a file instead of the actual file. i.e I have setup in my "send to" folder a shortcut to a folder in another person's account. What I want to do is, instead of right clicking on a file and selecting the folder to copy, I want to automatically create a link or shortcut to that file in the other person's folder. I hope I was able to explain it all right? Thanks
