Hello Just recently we started having issues with installing printers from a Windows 2003 SP2 print server as a standard user logged into a Windows XP SP2 machine. We have servers all over with identical drivers, HP 4350 which work fine as a regular user, but for some reason this one server we get the following error message. A policy is in effect on your computer which prevents you from connecting to this print queue. Please contact your system administrator. When I try to open the link to retrieve the file using (Vista) Windows Mail which is located on http://www.google.com usually ( Win XP or Win 2K have no problems) Vista shows the " Error 430" and inform, that file doesn't exist. Hi The below routine works just fine on 32 bit Windows 2000, XP and Server 2003. But under WOW32 on a 2003 64 bit system the debug code (compiled with runtime checks) fails claiming that "Run-Time Check Failure #2 - Stack around the variable 'ncbO' was corrupted." Release version without the check seems to work ok but i want to debug. I'm using MSVC 2003 7.1.6030 and don't currently have time to convert the code to 64 bit. Now the problem is the CVS client PC is trying to authenticate to CVS server PC using sspi or pserver protocol but its getting timeout. I am cvs client on win XP pc also they are getting authenticated with win2000 cvs server PC. I have an erratic keyboard. Every so often (?every few weeks) on booting up the Caps Lock light shows that the Caps Lock is on and the computer will accept a password to boot up but after boot up the Caps Lock will go into reverse (the light will come on to indicate that the Caps Lock is off). This is only a slight inconvenience, more of a curiosity. Does anyone know why it may act in this bizarre way? Thanks. Bill Ridgeway

My user account passwords are irradically cycling through one character at a time on all three user accounts continuously until I finally interrupt it by clicking a few times or if that doesn't work I use key strokes such as the Esc button to stop it. I can then type in my password to log in and everything works normal until I restart, shut down or log off. I have scanned for viruses, spyware etc and nothing has shown up.

I have bought a new pc with windows vista and media player won't open at all I tried the regsvr32 solution but it failed to do anything Indeed the registration of the dlls failed wih errors. Has any one got a solution to this. Failing that how do I uninstall media player and then reinstall it without rebuilding the whole machine.

Windows Media Player will not open. I keep getting a window telling me to validate my copy of Windows. I do this, and have gone through all the diagnotic tests and each time I get a message saying both Windows and/or Office are Validated. Yet, I can't get a simple program like Media Player to open and run. What's up with this?
