One of the guys I work with personal start folder disappeared (deleted accidentally perhaps), so I simply recreated it and added the appropriate shortcuts to it, but the programs won't launched at startup. I rebooted again, but they still didn't start. I didn't know why, so I just moved all the shortcuts to the to the "All Users" startup folder. They launched fine, but now 2 copies of every program launched. I checked using Defender, and they're listed in there twice, once in the "User Profile Startup Folder" and once in the "All Users Startup Folder." I'm not sure why because there's only 1 shortcut on the disk, and that's in the "All Users" startup folde…

Hi I have a customers server, HP Proliant ML350 G5 which is hanging every 3 weeks or so with 2019 events. Server is running 2003 standard, exchange 2003, AVG anti malware network edition 7.5.476 and symantec backupexec 11d build 6235. The only additional apps installed are the HP server management and RAID utilities. I look after several other servers running with similar hardware and software configs and have not come accross the same behaviour Using poolmon to monitor the server it is showing tags ObCi and NtFC as having high nonpaged pool memory usage. Dear All, My PC installed Visio Viewer 2003, but everytime I open the Visio file, a pop up message display with " Command line option syntax error. Type Command /? ", so the file cannnot be opened. Afterward, I searched the net and found that go to Folder Options, set Visio file to open with IE and the problem will be resolved. But I found that the problem still existed, only the syntax error disappeared, but after IE opened, and I accepted the ActiveX, Blank Page appear and cannot see the Visio contect ! I tried to reinstall Visio viewer 2003, but cannot fix ! How can I fix this problem ? Thanks a lot, Dan

Ever since I switched over to Vista I've been having a problem w/ the new Remote Desktop program. I find a big lag in performance (screen refreshes, etc.), particularly when I'm connecting to any of our Exchange servers. Are others noticing this as well and are there any settings I can change in RDP to help this?

An odd issue is happening on a Dell Dimension. When I have more than one program open while a CD is in the drive the CD door will not open. I also can not right-click on the drive and eject it. If I close all of the programs it will allow me to eject. None of my programs are using the files on the drive when this happens. I also had a CD that was spinning out of control in the drive. When I opened it and closed it again all of the files were gone and the CD-RW reported that it was completely full. I did get the blue screen of death a few times but have run a repair install of XP Pro since. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Rob

The fix to resolve error when printing from Works 8 to a Windows Vista based computer created another problem. The download update allows printing from Works 8 however, I can no longer print any webpages. I can print Windows Mail messages and Works docs only. Did system restore back to point before download....can now print from web pages but can longer print Works 8 docs. Help!! THANKS!

Microsoft clip organsier cannot complete the operation , no such interface supported error code 0x80004002 , I have already actioned the user action for this fault as detailed in technet which is to ensure you have a late version of mdsn. of which i have 2.8 , this problem with clipart is across all the office 2007 suite , able to go online and dowmload clipart ,but unable to use it in any of the office applications . have reinstalled both office and operatiing system windows xp sp 2 still no success. have re registered the dll have re installed windows and office have checked with componet checker the version of msdn have run a detect and repair on clip or…
