Issue Sometime users when get to sign in to azure during some operations like backup/restore or managing failover gets an error on signing page says ‘We couldn't find an account with that username. Today, I got a error configuring my extended event session, The target, 'XXX.package0.event_file', encountered a configuration error during initialization. Object cannot be added to the event session. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 25602). Following, I would like to share my findings here. When running the extended event script mentioned Lesson Learned #324: Query Recompilation in Azure SQL - Microsoft Community Hub container, the error appears. Today, I worked on a service request that our customer asked about frequent query recompilation due to an automatic statistics update. The recompilation of queries could be good and bad. Sometimes, is better to consider a new compilation for a query instead of reusing the current execution plan, for example, if the data distribution in the table and the statistics have changed. Also, adding a new indexes, constraints or modifying the structure of the table could also produce a new recompilation. In SQL Server and Azure SQL the recompilations are at statement level.
