Believe it or not I found a solution to this. i went into the setup page for my router and set it up as an access point and voila, everything that has been terrorizing me for the last three weeks works perfectly. If anyone can find a way to do this without using router as an access point I am all ears but for now I am willing to sacrifice a bit of bandwidth to my neighbors..lol -- palmerlarryray Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com

I have a Sager 5750 that has an Elantech touch pad, I have tried Elantech website, but support is not available in English. Sager claims it is a conflict with Xp, Removed mouse driver completely, through safed mod and regular. XP installed ps/2 driver, then installed ELantech driver, still does not work. No other pointing device is installed (removed Logitech wireless mouse to do above) Sage claims that XP will not let elantech driver to be installed, looked at driver of touchpad and it lists many ktp (elantech) drivers and xp drivers. tried to update driver using elantech file, does not see a driver there. Posted this in microsoft.public.inetserver.iis but no one responded. I have a box with Server 2003 and IIS How do I set up info at domain.com and then info at otherdomain.com please? I can't seem to find anywhere in the user profile (user->info- >properties) that shows an email address and that's what I get in SBS. Second question (in case the first was too easy) why do bounced mails for name at otherdomain.com go to fred at domain.com? It's a bit embarrassing for me when one of my customers is getting another customer's bouncers. Third question (in case you're still reading): I'm more used to LINUX servers and use Webmin. Is there a windows equ…

I backup my two physical drives C: + R: with Vista backup. The problem is that when I mount my backup file with VHDmount, it only mounts a virtual drive D: that corresponds to C:. It doesn't mount any virtual drive for R: Do you confirm that VHDmound can't mount drives other than the first physical drive found in the backup file?

Hi, does anyone know why on certain PC XP sometime keeps recreating the user profile? I mean, a user executes the logon and his current profile is ignored, a new profile is created and obviously all his data disappears! It happens randomly and not so sporadically (I have a user on whom pc it happened 2 times in 3 weeks!) I exclude it depends on "roaming profile" because we dont use roaming profiles -) We have a Windows 2000 domain. Any idea? Thanks in advance
