It is very difficult having someone with the same name bashing and bashing Microsoft with rude obnoxious comments ALL over the internet, threatening lawsuits or whatever. Please if you hate Vista so much don't use it. New Operating systems have some bugs. You accept that fact when you buy a brand new operating system. I have a computer repair business that works on Microsoft products and it is very very embarrassing when people might confuse me with this guy. Please at least change your username to all these sites. I don't think your experienced enough to realize everything you put on the internet is a part of history and could be dug up years and years later. Th…

*I found this article below on a web site I frequent. Thought it could be helpful to someone. I found the program and all is well with my computer.* ** *I am now using Windows Vista and before I purchased it, I heard there was supposed to be something with it called a Health Report. Can you please fill me in? * *A: * First, allow me to give you a scenario. You're working on your computer and all the sudden, the program you're using errors out on you. You're unable to do anything but shut down the application, restart your computer and start over. And yes, that could mean most of your work goes unsaved. In the midst of everything, there's no explanation as to…

Hi, I have a windows 2000 CA that I want to remove from the network. I want to replace this with a 2003 CA but the standard process poses some problems The MS suggested Upgrade/Migration process states 1. Upgrade the 2000 CA to 2003 before migration - the problem here for me is the 2000 DC is very old and I'm fairly confident it wouldn't be sufficient for W2003 2. The new CA should have the same name as the old CA - I already have all the required servers setup and running. Further I would prefer not to have a server named the same as the old one. My question is - considering my preferred network setup requires that I move to a new server with a differ…

Hi everyone, I keep receiving this error message in Internet Explorer V7.0.5730.11 while accessing Google News Reader. Internet Explorer will shut down and ask to send an error report. I am currently running Windows XP Home SP3. The error involves SysFader.exe and I often have trouble when shutting down Windows as this program frequently stops responding. I do not have any problems with Google News Reader when using Firefox 3. Any help resolving this issue will be appreciated. Dave

I am running Windows XP Pro and Kaspersky Internet Security with Kaspersky,s anti-virus and firewall , all of which are up to date. This week the anti-virus program checking my computer and rootkit freezes at 4% when they reach Mount Point Manager Remote Data Base in System Volume Information. I have been using Kaspersky for years on this computer with no problem What is Mount Point Manager? Is this something Microsoft has in an update? Can I do without it? If so, how do I get rid of it? Thanks Mike
