My Vista only accept FAT32 as fast enough,I could use NTFS if I wanted to,but I had to tweak a bit,so I think FAT32 is the default format for ReadyBoost, each has its own style of Format so the default would be the best . If you had time you can read my post 'USB Flash Drive',in a very fast flash drive the copy and paste is faster with FAT format then NTFS,while in a very slow fash drive NTFS is faster. Fat16 format is the fastest in a very fast flash drive, but even then ReadyBoost still say it does not have the charateristic for optimal performance,it will only accept FAT32,so it would be best if you use FAT32 as it seems ReadyBoost can read that format easiest.…

I am having a problem when I shut off or restart my computer. A message flashes about dwin.exe and dll initialization error. It does not stop my computer from shutting down it only flashes real fast and then shuts down or restarts. It is a brand new Vostro 1500 with Windows XP home edition. The only programs on there so far are PC tools, AVG, Ad-aware, Spybot, and some windows updates which is up to SP3. I have went into the startup and unchecked everything one at a time to see if one of the programs in startup was doing it but I guess not because I still get this message. Can you tell me how to stop getting this message? Thank you
