For some reason when I go into my MSN account, I cannot access my emails. I can send but not receive. If I login into hotmail.com, I can access my email and work it that way. I spent about 90 minutes online with MSN and they came to the conclusion I have a problem with IE. They uninstalled it and reinstalled it but to no avail. They said I had to contact Microsoft. Anybody have a solution before I put out the $59 for help? Please email me at wallmann33@msn.com and I will access it thru hotmail.com Thank you. Larry Potter wallmann33@msn.com PS: I did install the IE pack 3 this evening, but I still cannot access my email directly thru MSN I ha…

Hi all, im trying to set the size of the pagefile on all windows 2008 servers we build with MDT. I've found my existing scripts seem to not work in 2008.... they are modified versions of http://www.myitforum.com/articles/11/view.asp?id=6914 and http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/scripts/default.mspx?mfr=true While they run through fine, no actual updates are made to the pagefile. I have also found that the "old" disable firewall scripts dont work on windows 2008. If anyone has confirmed working versions on win 2008, help would be appreciated.

Over the last three months or so the fax facility has been playing up. When I attempt to launch it from Winword the wizard starts then freezes, so I need Task Manager to get out of it if I launch from the Desktop the console comes up but will not display any files. The only way I can get it back is to do a system restore, and the next time I switch on the fax will be gone again. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the windows component and the modem driver but I still have to do a restore every time I want to send a fax. Is it a glitch in the boot process, and if so how on earth do I find it? In hope Derek Peters

Today it is so high I just lost interest in counting. The dunce is busier than a bee but looks like a cockroach. It seems that he made so many enemies that he now has to spend all day posting even though they are cut and pastes. Pretty soon he will give up if he has an ounce of brains but maybe that is too much to expect. hehehe...LOL! answer begins here:
